Had a Tuna Melt and while the tuna itself was quite good, it was more of a tuna on toast with cheese.

The cheese was cold and not melted at all. It was served with a side order of warm, soggy french fries.

The tuna melt was $20. A bit pricey, which I wouldn't mind if it was good. $20 for a small, below average sandwich is definitely not what I am looking for.

Not impressed at all. Sandwich was bland and charged extra for lettuce and tomatoes and there was barely any. French onion soup had very little cheese. It isn't cheap either - $20 for 1/2 sandwich and soup for lunch. Definitely not worth it - so many better options in the area

We bought split pea soup, rye bread, knishes, latkes, and black & white cookies to take home. Loved everything we got. The soup tastes like what your mom would make, the rye bread is so good, and it was the best black & white cookie we’ve ever had. Definitely going to do this again. Highly recommend!

Me and my family have been eating for over 6 years. We ordered from here and we noticed there was new owners but didn’t think anything of it but we should have known it was gonna be bad from the phone call we had with them. We asked if the Cesar salad wrap had grilled chicken and he said grilled chicken so we ordered it (it came with fried chicken). We asked for no tomato in the chicken cutlet sandwich and he proceeded to say no chicken cutlet? We corrected him and said no, no tomato (the sandwich came with tomato). The corn beef has been changed to a lower quality meat that was very fatty. The worst part of this whole thing is there was a small hair in my chicken cutlet sandwich. Disgusting. Quality and service has definitely gone down with new owners.

The brisket dinner on the website looks amazing so I gave this place a try. Unfortunately what I got looked nothing like the picture. Thankfully the brisket wasn’t terrible just ok, it was just a bit bland and mostly because someone decided to trim all of the fat off. That’s what gives it flavor in my opinion. If I come back I’ll try something different. My waitress was a sweetheart.

Second time there... I liked the place on my first visit. On my second visit 5/30/2024 I ordered a quart of Chicken Noodle Soup... all broth, almost no chicken, very few noodles... I will not be back.

Woah. This place is just amazing.I ordered online, and now I have to come in person. This food fed my heart. I cannot remember the last time I enjoyed a meal so much. So simple, so much love in the taste. The Sandwich: A ~generous~ amount of roast beef, perfectly cooked and shaved. The Pickle: home-made I’m guessing, and so mild and crunchy. The Coleslaw & Potato Salad: both together is !!

Went for early dinner tonight, they were out of square knishes and out of rugelach, the 2 items that convince my wife to eat deliThe smallest rye bread that l have ever been served a $20 corned beef /pastrami sandwich on.When I spoke with counter staff after meal they said new owners do not work weekends so there was no one to discuss missing menu itemsDon't think I will be back

Go there for the great pastrami and corned beef. It is very authentic New York City style.
