We went to a new (to us) restaurant tonight. The food (Italian) was excellent. The service was very nice. According to the menu, everything was freshly made - and it tasted like it. We both had salads first. Mine was Caesar Salad and the garlic level was excellent. You could definitely taste the garlic - but it was not overpowering. The romaine was fresh and crispy. The croutons were also crispy - as they should be. I ordered the make your own pasta. I ordered fettuccine with Bolognese and broccoli. I have been looking for an outstanding Bolognese for a very long time. Most are disappointing - but this one hit the mark. It had an outstanding flavor with a hint of sweetness. The portion was more than ample - I could not finish it. To say the least we were impressed!! The restaurant is Agliolio at 2258 N Congress - in Boynton Beach. They have a very active bar. We were there early - but more people kept coming in. The menu is extensive and they also gave us their lunch menu. Our server told us they are honoring (for now) their lunch menu all day. Our experience was all pluses. You will be happy if you try it.

I don't give bad reviews, but this place really disappointed us. We ordered fried calamari and 2 Margherita pizzas. The calamari were acceptable, however both pizzas ended in the garbage. The only item that ruined the pizzas were the freshly chopped tomatoes. THEY WERE ACIDIC, ROTTEN, FERMENTING IN THE MOUTH. I am so sorry to post this, but we were so hungry. We never threw food away but this time we were forced to do it

A wonderful Italian restaurant. It's often busy, so service can be a bit slow. But they are always pleasant. Great food and huge portions!

Small portion of veal parmigiana. When manager asked us about meal, I told him that my husband and I have been to this restaurant before and the portion of veal was much larger. He responded to me that the size of the veal that was on my plate looked like a normal size and I should finish the meal and then we’ll discuss it. I have never had any manager in any restaurant respond in that fashion. To add, the veal was so oily that I felt I was eating a bottle of oil. I’ll have to think twice before my husband and I return.

Not pasta carbonara
When my daughter and I are in Boynton Beach, Agliolio is our go-to spot for lunch or dinner.
The meatballs are a standout for us—they remind us of my mom’s homemade recipe, and we humbly consider them the best in town. My daughter is a ravioli fiend and Agliolio's never disappoints.
The complimentary bread is a welcome start to the meal, their Caesar salad is always tasty, and I especially enjoy the mussels with oil and garlic. The service is consistently great, and we can’t wait to go back.

First time at restaurant based on reviews read by wife. Thoroughly enjoyed experience. Prepared exactly the way we wanted. She had Veal Piccata without capers. I had Grilled Salmon with Penne Pasta al Fra Diablo with grilled vegetables . I only took a picture of what was left of my pasta Fagiolo soup as we devoured almost every other bite. The take home packaging was great.
