I've been to A'Lu a few times already and I absolutely love it! The view/ambiance and the happy hour prices really makes it a great place. Service is also very good and the churros dessert is delicious! They include free chips and salsa which I love but I do wish they didn't come in a brown paper bag--it kinda ruins the presentation! A simple bowl would go a really long way. The tacos were okay and lacked flavor or some "oomph" but regardless, I still keep coming back because the drinks, prices, and views are great!

I got the taco dinner. They had a special lobster taco when I went so I had to try that. I got the short rib, lobster and fish tacos for my choice of 3. All were good. Would love it if sauces besides house salsa came with it. The rice and beans is delicious. Lots of flavor. The tres leches is delicious! Our waiter was over attentive but trying so hard I feel bad saying that. He just came to check on us a little too much but he was truly a sweet heart and very personable. Tacos could use more flavor but they are good.

The place is absolutely beautiful. The food is great! The cocktail drinks are not that great, this of why I rate it a 4. The atmosphere was very nice. I would definitely recommend this restaurant. Isaac our server was really nice. The food runners were also nice and management was good.Definitely worth the try!
The Carne Asada taco was so Tough I had to spit it in My Napkin. The drinks were good. The Empanadas were good. The Tacos were only Ok. The place bills itself as a San Diego Inspired Mexican place but they don't have a Cali Burrito. The Rice and Beans were good......no Refried however. The Chips (served in a bag) were good. The Salsa was good. The rest not so much.

The happy hour and the bar service is impeccable. Brittney and Julia are the dream team behind the bar. Best authentic margaritas! I want to try everything on the menu! Lakeside dining, beautiful. Hidden gem!
Greasy chips served in a bag. Had to request the hot salsa. Had to ask for water. No napkins offered with salsa. Nice atmosphere, big place on a lake. Very young (20’s) working there, probably need an experienced ( older) person as manager. A bit pricey for mexican food, as the only side is rice & beans included.Put the chips in a basket and make em hot. No music playing, i give em 6 months before a steak & seafood place jumps in there.

Was first introduced to this restaurant for the Captains Awards dinner for the Holiday Boat Show and couldn't wait to come back and try it again. The Pina Margarita is literally addictive with the toasted coconut rim! The view is lovely, day and night especially with the twinkle lights. The food is incredible! Try the goat tacos, they are amazing! Everything is fresh and the service is great! Looking forward to making new memories here. ?Parking: Open lot plenty of parking

We wanted to try something differentWe were impressed by the expanse of indoor and outdoor seating. I had the Mexico Bol with grilled peaches and avocado. Everything was fresh and delicious. I went back 10 days later for that unbelievable salad. This time with a side of mahi. I plan to try everything on the menu. Thanks Brittany you are awesome!

This place is amazing the people are ALWAYS kind. Food is always great. I read some of the reviews here’s my tip. This isn’t a taco truck this is a dine in restaurant with ambience. So yes don’t come if you don’t want to spend some money.And even if you’re right on a budget they have taco Tuesdays and half off margarita Mondays.Unfortunately in Boynton there aren’t many places like these so the people are SPOILD with fast food. The servers are young but they aren’t rude they are inexperienced. Boynton beach also has an older demographic therefor harder to please.I’ve been here at least 5 times and have never had a bad experience.
