Horrible experience, first time visiting.
Walked in excited to grt some grio, the lady sitting on the other side did not speak English and looked at me like I was lost, after attempting to communicate with her with no success, she hand signaled me to wait and spoke in creole to someone in the kitchen. Another came out and I attempted to communicate with her, she did not speak English either...she asked if I spoke Spanish and I answered yes. I placed my order got a drink and waited. I had an older gentleman come from outside and stated I need to move my car! I responded ok give me a few im waiting on my food. He turned around and repeated i need to move my car because im parked in the owners spot. I looked at him confused waving my drink and money, as he repeated it for the 3rd time. The owner then walks in and I tell him I just gave her the money ill be leaving as soon as she gives me my change. After the interaction I thought to myself I should have just canceled the food and left. The ppl working here are rude, $20 for fried pork and plantains...next time ill go next door....customer service is great and food taste the same if not better. Definitely wouldn't recommend this place!

Honestly if I could give negative starts I would. To start off when I was ordering through the phone I was being rushed because “other customers were calling” and then I ordered griot with black rice and a side of macaroni gratine. First of the macaroni was not even gratine, it was just burnt oily pasta. Second the griot was absolutely disgusting by just tasting it, it was dry, unseasoned, and you can taste that they didn’t even clean the meat either it seemed like they just threw pork in a fryer like that, m pa janm we griot gen pwèl. Never in my life have I ever tasted dry griot because that meat is usually fatty. On top of that there was hair on the griot so you can tell they didn’t clean the meat at all. For you to be charging $54 for two griot plates I would’ve expected something immaculate but you gave subpar. I threw away all of my food so I threw my food down the trash.

I really like the griot here. Not a lot of Haitian restaurants get the Griot right. They give a good amount of food— I often have leftovers for lunch the next day.

If you’re looking for authentic Haitian cuisine, this is the spot! The food is absolutely amazing—delicious, flavorful, and clearly made with care. I live in Delray, but I happily make the drive to Boynton every time I’m craving Haitian food. It’s that good! Highly recommend this place to anyone seeking a true taste of Haitian culture.
