We are frequent diners at Cucina Moderna & have always had excellent service & food. This time was quite different. Considering we arrived at the restaurant before 6pm, we still had to wait an hour after we ordered for our entree to arrive. After we finished our salads, we were told by our server, our food would be right out. We had to wait another 25 minutes for our food(our server explained they got backed up in the kitchen)& when it did arrive, I didn't enjoy my meal at all. My chicken parm, which is usually pounded thin was a thick brick of chicken with unusual herbs in the breadcrumbs. The pasta was rubbery. The broccoli was flavorless. My son liked his mahi mahi, my husband liked his salmon & the gelato was very good. When I got home, I had terrible GI issues from my meal. I quickly discarded the leftovers I brought home & am reluctant to return when there are so many other good Italian restaurants in the area. I don't know if they have a new chef but the wait time & food prep was completely different than my previous visits.

We were three people one had pizza as Main dish other 2 of us waited 25 minutes for our dinner to be served. Pizza was served and other dishes didn't come out for 25 minutes. Unacceptable. Was told “pizza not done in kitchen “! So what. Not my problem. Coordinate kitchen and dinners. You're a restaurant people don't want to eat separately when dining together.

I enjoy the restaurant and service. The food without Sunday Gravy is very good. We found the Sunday Gravy too sweet. Usually Sunday Gravy is delicious and a favorite. Chicken wings delicious, Salmon was delicious and cooked perfectly. The eggplant parm with the Sunday gravy was disappointing.
Hostess sat us at a table near kitchen and bathroom It was thruway There were other tables and she would not let us change Manager asked everyone more than once how everything was and avoided us many times

I went with 2 friends on a Friday night. I had an Open Table reservation and we were seated immediately at 7:30 when we arrived. The waitress was very friendly and accommodating. We ordered drinks, which arrived promptly and were nicely done. The waitress brought bread and olive oil. It was so good that none was left at the end of the meal. The bread was cut into slices like a small pizza. One friend and I each ordered the swordfish from the Specials menu. It was delicious! Served over a bed of risotto with a lemon butter sauce, garnished with capers. It was difficult to save some to take home, but we managed to. Our other friend ordered chicken parmigiana from the regular menu. The sauce was superb, the chicken was tender, and the side of pasta was al dente. He took some of his dinner home, also. When the bill came we had it split 3 ways (3 credit cards), but I am sure the waitress would have given us separate checks if we had asked. We will definitely eat there again!

Our waiter, Andrew, was very personable. After telling him that they no longer offer my favorite flavor of gelato, he found it and brought it to me. What service! Kudos to Juan, the manager, for offering dark beer, which is my husband's preference.

We had a great outside dinner way in the back so it was much quieter and cool. Daniel was a very pleasant server. Our party of four each got different entrees and everyone finished their plates...they were that good. I enjoyed the sangria ($10) and my veal was tender, with great Marsala sauce. The only negative was the kitchen was slow in getting the food out. Salads and soups were served quickly, but then we had a long wait. Delicious tiramisu for dessert. Parking is great because it is in a shopping center.

Having a musician there singing Italian music was great for the ambiance. Initial delay in seating, even though there was a table opened. After 15 min. that's where they placed us. ?♀️
I hope the waiter was new and just learning the ropes. In that spirit I gave him a nice tip despite very bad service. He disappeared again and again. We had to wait and wait for everything.

So loud you can hear it from the parking lot as you approach... it's only 5:30pm and the place was not that busy. We had a reservation but were told there were no availsble tables inside...so we sat outside only to be bothered by all the flying bugs! The food was not worth returning for..veal was chewy, sauce tasted like it was from a can, pasta was hard and the flounder franchise (a daily special)was over salted. The service was pleasant and the bread and gelato were good.

Our dinning experience at Cucina Moderna was exceptional from start to finish. The host honored my seating request when I arrived. Our server couldn't have been more accommodating. My husband has food allergies which she diligently took notes on. She conferred with the kitchen & sent a manager over to our table to ensure his food would be prepared properly. She also checked back with us a few times during our meal to make sure we were enjoying our food. Great value, great food, great service! Can't wait to return!

Made a reservation through open table and was seated right away at an outside table so I can't say much about the inside ambiance but looked nice. Service was fast and our server Colleen was great! Bread brought to the table with olive oil, very tasty. Ordered the baked Ziti and fettuccine bulinase. Both were very good hearty meals. Would highly recommend.

Waitress was sweet and friendly.The music and noise was so loud inside that we could not hear each other at our table.AC was very cold.My prosciutto and fig pizza was beautifully presented but was extremely dry with barely any cheese or topping. I do not recommend having a pizza here.
