I consider myself a Jewish deli aficionado. But frankly this ain't it. Everything is ok. But ok doesn't cut it when we're talking bagels and pastrami sandwiches. There's a 30 min wait typically so that says something. But the pastrami and corned beef are so lean and unsalted I didnt want to even finish half a sandwich. I get it - its for the crowd they get. Bagels are not on the same planet as Way Beyond or Bagels With. And if you wanted to compare to a real deli like Katz's or take your pick from NY, fogettaboudit! Ill be back but I dont see the need to rush.

This past weekend I was in the area so I decided to do takeout. I ordered two hot pastrami sandwiches and a few bagels. The pastrami looked more like corned beef and definitely wasn't tender or tasty. The potato latke was hard and dry. The bagels, I would think from the morning we're stale or overbaked. I'm very disappointed and am crossing this Flakowitz off my list.

Ordered sweet potato fries, got regular French fries. No, I didn't check my order because the bag was knotted closed. Next time don't tie the bags closed so people can check their orders. You owe me $1.75 plus tax! ( Upcharge for sweet potato fries)

They called my number but helped someone who came after me without a number. They gave me regular fries when I ordered sweet potato fries, & gave me Cole slaw when I ordered potato salad. I'll go elsewhere next time

I waited online for over an hour for a bakery item. I understood that it was before the holiday. However , my ticket number was
B 82 and all of a sudden the clerk was taking number C50. He went back to 50 and didn’t understand that the tickets with a C needed to be taken after all the B tickets were called. He said the letter didn’t matter. The clerks need to be trained better

Grabbed breakfast with mom yesterday. Our bagel arrived with one of our waitress’ hairs in it. On top of the hairy bagel my Greek omelette was bland and overcooked. They were nice to change my meal to French toast, however our waitress needs to wear a hat.

They did not allow me to place a to go order and said I have to come in during the morning the day before I would need the order to see if they even have what I want to order. They did not provide any indication of requirements to place orders on their website.
A large and extremely tasty corned beef sandwich!!

We were going to Florida for Rosh Hashanah so I asked the snowbirds where to order dinners from. Everyone told me Flakowitz was the place to go, so I ordered 6 dinners.
I guess I’ve been spoiled by my wife’s cooking, so it was a big disappointment! The Challah and the chicken were good, but the rest was just ok at best.
It’s the first time we’ve ordered out for the holiday, and it will probably be the last
