The restaurant was almost empty, but service was still inattentive. Two servers were sitting off to the side. My server seated me but didn’t offer water or a drink—I had to ask—and the table was wet until I pointed it out.
I ordered a medium steak, but it came out well-done, watery, oddly colored, and with a strange texture. I could only eat about a third. I didn’t send it back because the service was already poor.
Even after I pushed my plate away, the server didn’t bring my check until I called her over. I still left a 10% tip, which I’ve never done before. Only the mashed potatoes and green beans were okay.
