The food here is trash. The service is awesome though.

Enjoyed a delicious turkey sandwich from Jacob’s Deli last night. Turkey off the frame was so yummy and rye bread so fresh as if it had just come out of the oven. And the half sour pickles were perfectly half sour and crunchy! Staff were very friendly and attentive, smiling and personable. Thank you to the kind waitress who helped me the minute I opened the door, and to the entire team who enjoyed a laugh with me on my way out. It’s a rare occasion to meet such happy servers and back of the house staff, especially on a Sunday evening at closing; which tells me they truly enjoy their jobs and employer. I was very impressed, as was my tummy, and will absolutely return soon to try more menu items.Kid-friendliness: Family style restaurant, kiddy food options, family friendly staff.Wheelchair accessibility: Located in a strip mall, easy access from parking lot to restaurant interior. Easy egress between tables.

Jacobs is the best. Food excellent. The owner Jose is terrific. It’s the best turkey sandwich I’ve ever had. Moist and the bread melts in your mouth. You need a ladder to eat the sandwiches. They are huge and SO DELICIOUS. everything is good on the menu. We are going there today! Thanks Jose!

Just had dinner at Jacob’s with two friends. We ordered from the dinner menu, which includes an appetizer, main dish, beverage and dessert. All for $19.95. A great deal. The food was very good, I must add. When we received the bill however, we were charged $2.95 twice. When I questioned these charges, I was told it was because our sodas were Dr. Brown’s and they were extra. Nobody had asked for this brand. We just wanted the included soda. The items were not taken off the bill as we had consumed the beverages. This in my opinion was a very sneaky way of padding a bill. It was my first time at that restaurant and was very disappointed at this type of undisclosed hidden fees! If we had asked for this brand, there would have been no problem!

I went to Jacob’s to buy 2 quarts of half sour pickles, since it’s impossible to find fresh ones around here. When I got home and tried them, I was disappointed and disgusted with the pickles they gave me. They were dark green and very slimy, felt like sand was in them. One container had whole ones in it and the other had all cut pickles which were pre cut.

This place surpassed our expectations! Never again will we enter the doorways of those nasty, overcrowded, and overrated other Jewish delis in the Boynton and Delray Beach areas! The minute we walked through the door at Jacob’s delicatessen, we were warmly greeted – what a concept! Our waiter, Shawn, was extremely friendly, courteous, and attentive. The meal was delicious: excellent pastrami, potato pancakes with Fresh DELICIOUS, sour cream, cucumber salad, coleslaw, and the absolute best Rye-bread we have ever had. A generous basket was brought to the table while we waited and it was fluffy on the inside and crispy and delicious on the outside and served with plenty of butter. All at a bargain price of $20 for the dinner special, which includes pickle platter, beverage and a dessert. I couldn’t resist a side of stuffed derma with gravy, and it was out of this world: Not salty or greasy like at other area delis. It was such a pleasure to enjoy authentic Jewish food in a welcoming and friendly atmosphere! We will be back!

Best corned beef special outside of N.Y. but it could be a tie. Of course enough for two sandwiches and extra coleslaw with takeout. Rye bread outstanding. ?

Found Jacob's through a Google search for delis while visiting in Boynton. Some of the reviews were off-putting: unfriendly staff, lousy food, rude service. We were pleasantly surprised.Maybe we were lucky with the service because we got there at 2 pm and the lunch crowd was emptying out. Our food arrived quickly. 3 employees asked if food was OK.Portions were generous, and we got very good value for the prices. You'll do better here with your dollars than say the more upscale Ben's in Boca. We all had combo sandwiches on rye, which was very fresh. If you're looking for chichi ambience, this is not the place for you. Wooden tables and chairs reminded me of a school cafeteria. The place was clean but old. like the 80+ year olds leaving as we arrived.Overall, a good experience.
