Reservation for 7. Only available table was basically by the front in the middle of severs walking to the kitchen and pretty awful to even put a table there. Waited 30 minutes to sit at a different table, then got drinks and water in another 20 minutes, then got food ordered waited another 30 minutes to get silverware, so ultimately a one hour night with a reservation turned into 2 1/2 hours and the food came out cold, bland, and dull. Eaten at Josie's before had a very different experience the time before but the head of house runs the restaurant horribly and honestly the food out right sucked which was disappointing for a Saturday night out.
has been our go to for 5 yrs... never disappointed. reservation always honored...happy hour great. food excellent...attentive service. all you could ask for from any restaurant.
Great neighborhood restaurant. Food is great and server, Kelly is always the best; friendly, personable, and knowledgeable. We will return again soon.
We had the best time at Josie's. Food is great and drinks omgggggg we went for happy hour and the menu is so attractive and with lots of options. I highly recommend this place
We love going to Josie's . There are always lovely people to meet It is an amazing value and staff are so accommodating
Fabulous sunset menu until 6pm. All choices from pizza, to rigatoni bolognese to calamari, eggplant stuffed with angel hair, $5 house wines, couldn't be beat! Loved everything!
Restaurant was busy, but, still there were times when I shouldn't have had to hunt for our server. Menu is very appealing and food and drink was excellent. Everything made for a very good evening - but for the occasional drip on my head from the ceiling........... I look forward to going back.
This was our first poor experience dining at Josie's and it was probably the server. It wasn't super busy but we had to wait for everything. Server just wasn't very attentive and when we never got bread we asked for some and then he brought out focaccia after another server gave us bread. Worst part was he charge $12 for it. He was just a bit rude and couldn't be bothered with our table because we only ordered entrees off main menu and the specials were higher in price so it seemed he didn't like that. Needless to say with all restaurants in area, we will not be going back.
Our dinner, as always, was spectacular. However, they had a Keylime pie on special. It was the best I've ever had. Totally insane!
Drew, Josie's cordial and well organized manager, honored my request for the desired table. Our waitress, Donna, served us politely, efficiently and delightfully. Three of us enjoyed the delicious chicken parm special while our fourth was pleased with the pizza she ordered. Josie's is a wonderful, neighborhood spot in a lovely setting. Can't wait to return.

I took my family there for Father's Day...we had a 5PM reservation, an early dinner seating..my son wanted to have a veal chop...they were out of the veal chop so he said he would have lamb chops another food he enjoys; GUESS WHAT, they said they were out of that too...remember we were at an early dinner seating. He settled on veal parmigiana and he said it was one of the worst he's had and more expensive than other restaurants he's eaten & enjoyed this dish at. His pasta was supposed to be seasoned with garlic and oil he received it swimming in a pool of the oil...enough said. We were not asked if everything was ok or if a drink should be refilled (the water was refilled)
Our waitresses was wonderful The food was delicious! We sat on the covered patio and it was a nice breeze and that made it a wonderful experience.
As always the food was delicious I had a special breaded veal cutlet with Baratta cheese topped with arugula salad
The only thing bad was that our friend ordered veal Marsala . There was what looked like a potato on the plate but it was a carrot! We had the waitress as the kitchen what it was. He's allergic to carrots , his throat closes, thank G-d he didn't eat the carrot. They never asked about allergies and the dish didn't say it had carrots. The restaurant should have done a free desert oat least orsomething for this .They did nothing -
A little confusion on who was going to serve us, but once we had someones attention it was back to normal. Good house wine, great valdastona and stuffed grouper. Went for a full meal tonight although we love the happy hour menu also.
