We had a reservation but had to wait 45 minutes for a table. The server was nice, but overwhelmed because he had to serve too many tables. So service suffered. The food was OK, but not great. Both of us had beef dishes, and both were overcooked.

This place is terrific. If you like a really tasty Ruben Sandwich, you've Hit the jack pot. They even have hot pastrami, excellent pickles. Really good wholesome food. Nice little bar and bistro.The chef is always trying new things. Truly worth the visit.Wheelchair accessibility: I'll be honest. Wheels are much easier, if handled outside. If you come at the right time of day you may be able to get a seat within.

I love a place that has “happy hour food”.Nice little selection of “bar bites” if you sit at the high tops. Since I don’t drink, it’s always fun to still experience a happy hour with food specials instead of alcohol. Sent with my family and they enjoyed their drinks and our whole family shared a bunch of stuff off the “bar bites”. It was good and our server was wonderful.

Since the pandemic it’s been extremely hard to find great customer service. However, my family and I were so pleased after visiting Jax’s Bistro & Bar. Not only was the customer service great but the food was delicious. The owner and his wife also stopped by to greet me and my family and made sure we had everything we needed. We will definitely be back!

Had a meeting of 9 local ladies. We made reservations in advance. Owner was incredibly rude to every one of us. Telling us we couldn’t have a book club there even though we were all drinking and eating. This was all of our first (and last) time there. I am shocked to be treated so poorly!

I am writing this at 840 pm. They say they are open until 9. They lied. We walked in at 832 pm and you would have thought we were from another planet. No one wanted work and the manager or owner says the kitchen closes at 830. Wow, 2 min. They obviously don't want or need business. Just wanted a nice dinner after the soccer match.

I decided to try jax bistro last weekend and i will never come back ! Cold sliders, dirty plates and glasses, my server was at my table a total of 2 times ! Could barely understand him, neglectful, and provided no service.. first and last time !

I worked at jax bistro and bar for almost a year and this review was mainly to let customers know that this restaurant has a pest problem (more specifically German cockroaches) it was a huge problem for me working there to have to work under such conditions it was never resolved the entire time I worked there.

It took a very long time to place our order. My husband ordered the meatloaf with mushroom and onions. The mushrooms were served on his plate. The onions were served on my plate. I assumed the onions that came on my plate were part of my meal since I did not order a separate dish. The mushrooms were salty and most of them were left on eaten. The bill came and they charged $5.00 for the mushrooms and $5.00 for the onions even though the menu price was $1.50 each. We pointed this out to the waiter and the owner; and, there was no accommodation made on the bill .
