Mamma Mia's Trattoria of West Boynton

Before it became Bella, this place was Mama Mia’s and had a great reputation. The ambiance is still cozy and familiar, and the pizza remains delicious. However, the service did not live up to expectations.

Our waitress seemed overwhelmed, taking care of more than seven tables by herself during lunch while others were busy making pizzas or just starting their shifts. Just when she was about to take our order, she got distracted by some customers behind us who waved her over to finalize their check. She then turned her attention to helping another table with water, which made us feel a bit ignored. While the food is definitely still tasty, the service really needs improvement to match the quality of the pizza.

I ordered the Linguini with Clam Sauce (RED) only to get NO CLAMS (EMPTY CLAM SHELLS) and the Red sauce is not Clam Sauce it is Tomato 🍅 Sauce with a plethora of tomatoes. I’ve never heard of tomato sauce for clam sauce. I have been ordering from here for years only to see the decline in food quality. I do not recommend you coming here to dine because of the uncertainty. Disappointed because I know what they were capable of.

I have been ordering a minimum of twice a week for delivery. We generally get ziti with garlic and oil. For some reason we are lucky to get a teaspoon of garlic so today I called to ask them to add more. Still didn’t get it. Time to go elsewhere

Easily the worst penne ala vodka I’ve ever had. I ordered via Uber, and apparently the dish was supposed to have prosciutto in it, but it was just plain pasta and jar sauce. You can literally taste that the sauce is from a jar, something like Prego. I saw that it was rated 66% out of 100 on Uber, but I felt like I should try it anyway. Huge regret. Also, the garlic knots are just plain knots in a bag with a glob of garlic thrown on top. When it comes to a delivery order, that means that the bread will be soggy and impacted with garlic and inedible. I’ll never go or order from here again.

I wanted a low-key Valentine’s takeout dinner at home. My husband went to pick it up, the restaurant had given our order to someone else. They rushed to redo it, but unfortunately, they forgot to add the chicken to the entrée. After a long day at work, the last thing I wanted was an incorrect order. The original pickup time was 8:20, and with the mix-up, I finally got my food much later—only to realize the chicken was missing. By then, the restaurant had already closed. Very disappointed! Food was good with large portions. Waitress was very pushy & didn't split the bill as asked. Crowded & noisy. After looking at the bill, I couldn't believe the waitress charged an extra $3.00 for a little butter with spaghetti on a $240.00 bill. How cheap can you get? I will not return!

No sunset menu!!! Shame on you!!!

I recommend not ordering delivery from them. Ordered one pizza at 5:37, the first delivery driver quit presumably due to the wait. The driver left there at 6:40 and the pizza was delivered cold 2.1 miles away at 6:49. It was a Thursday night. Perhaps the experience is much better in person. Will definitely never order delivery from there again though.

Excellent food, huge portions. Chefs hit way above their weight--much more creative than your typical red sauce emporium.

Kid-friendliness: Staff pays attention to the kids and helps the parents enjoy their meals.

Our dining experience this evening was enhanced by both our waitress, Mattie and our bus boy, Anthony, who made sure oir every need was fulfilled. Great restaurant. Great service.
