The Original Pancake House

Certainly original, but it's more of a classic "ederly" dine-in destination, perfect for those who appreciate tradition. The chocolate ? chip pancakes ? are a definite highlight, and their hand-squeezed fresh orange juice is a must-try. ??

What a great breakfast today, a little hard to find but worth the $8,99 with a beverage.(because I was a senior ) My waiter was John greeted me at the door since they open at 7am and I was waiting outside.

Very disappointed, the waiter was looking at us very strangely, just had an attitude the minute he saw us…. He brought our food with a dirty pancake plate on top of the food, and when we paid the bill, he took it upon himself to round it up to the nearest dollar, and refused to give us the remainder of our change, which I’ve never heard of before, but it was not his right to decide to keep the change and when I call nobody answers, it goes straight to voicemail and you cannot leave a message bc the voice mail is full. I will never go back. I will make sure everybody knows how absolutely horribly we were treated.

I wish I could give an insight of the quality of the food, but we got as far as being seated by the hostess. Never even got a menu. I would understand if the place was slammed, but there were three other tables occupied by couples, and we could see one waiter serving them, and the hostess and the other waitress standing in the back chatting. After about 10 minutes of being ignored, we got up and left ??‍♀️. The busboy did ask us if we were not going to eat... Maybe he should get a promotion, he was paying more attention than his colleagues.

The breakfast was good. We had no wait and we’re seated right away. The waiter was getting drink order right away. The food came out very fast. We weren’t expecting it. The food was hot well cooked and tasted great. All in all it was a good experience.

I've been to a bunch of OPH's and this one is great. We had fantastic friendly service on a Saturday morning, arriving well before the usual crush arrived. Our waiter was super awesome and took great care of us. Dad especially appreciated the "real" maple syrup he brought to the table as it's the to go packaging rather than the regular dining room stuff that may or not be "real."Irish Omelet for me and believe me, the omelets here are massive. They say three eggs but it could well be four and it's baked light and fluffy. Served with three buttermilk pancakes, this is more than a meal. For me, two meals as half of it went home and was Sunday breakfast!This isn't Ruth's Chris. This is a chain breakfast joint so evaluate it as such. I enjoyed it and would absolutely return.

I ordered spinach eggs benedict and its just gross. It tastes like mush! And it was $16!! Never ever coming back here. Please save your cash and go elsewhere

Aprille is the best waitress and always greets my family and I with a huge smile on her face. She is one of the reasons we continuously choose to come to the Boynton Beach location. food, coffee, and OJ are fantastic. Service is great from these hard working folks! Aprille, Daniela up in the front( and Julio(Julian?) are very hardworking people as well.

Stop by on a Sunday when it was relatively busy and wasn’t expecting much, but I was wrong. The service was amazing! Vivianna was my server, she was patient, walked me through the menu and very sweet. The meals were great and tasty. Def recommend!

My swedish pancakes were crispy at the edges but gummy and undercooked in the center. In my opinion my coffee was way too strong. The service was friendly, attentive and quick. The atmosphere is ok. The music was loud and a raucous jazzy sound that was intrusive and unpleasant.

Extremely hot in restaurant my daughter and I were sweating. The server barely came back to the table to ask if we needed anything. I wanted water and could not even get it before I left. Bad service, server never said anything was an up charge. Charged everything a La Carte without making combination meals. 3 pieces of bacon side order $6.99, I never complain but I have been at brunch places that are way better than this. Tried to get water to wash down my food no one was available. Called the manager and he said ok I will talk to server. Won’t be coming here again. They need better customer service and a check on their menu pricing. Servers need to inform customers of extra charges if they are not going to help see how they can combine meals to save customers some money. Just because of inflation does not mean you should take advantage of your customers.
