Would love to give Thomas and his wife 5 stars. Unfortunately I was literally sick to my stomach when I saw the bill and couldn't enjoy their tasty food. I'm a believer in giving credit where it's due. I spoke to owners prior to posting this review. I would like for you to look at reviews of other businesses that I have left, if you are concerned about accuracy of this experience. The GOOD: food temperature and quality was fine. Portion sizes were average and taste was good. It's obvious that a lot of care goes into their cooking methods and into purchasing quality ingredients, meats etc. The place has nice ambiance, was clean and it's probably a good happy hour place. The BAD: their pricing, their pricing, their pricing !!! and their lack of care for customer concerns. It is absolutely ridiculous that an average lunch for one was over $32.00 before tax and tip !!!! This is ridiculous. A piece of sausage, a small cardboard tray serving of fatty brisket and a small macn cheese with fries was $32.09 plus TAX and plus tip. My wife had beans, small serving of pork and small brisket with macncheese and paid $28.89 plus TAX and plus tip. The soda is gross generic cola from a dispenser. Please see photos attached. YOU CAN BE THE JUDGE. I'm concerned because these are hard working folks that seem to think that paying $35 for one "to go" BBQ plate for ONE is ok and the norm. They mentioned food costs, labor, rent etc, I don't doubt them. Dentists don't charge $250 for teeth cleaning, a facial or Massage is not $350, yes all costs are increasing but a basic BBQ lunch can't possibly be 35% more than a comparable meal at a J Alexander's or a Cheesecake factory. If we are going to compare ingredient quality, portion sizes, and type of cousine, we can chat about Asian or seafood restaurants with premium sushi and hand crafting. If refuse to accept this level of pricing for food that is decent and average. We are not at a 7 star hotel in Dubai UAE where I can spend $65 on breakfast for one. If I want BartonG pricing for south beach standard quality food, I will head there. This is FAR FROM A BETTER DINING ESTABLISHMENT where dishes are priced STARTING at $25-$35+ THERE'S NO EXCUSE for charging what they charge for what they serve. Robs bbq , Georgia pig, scrubbys haven't decided that they need to bill clients a $35 lunch for one or to-go. Sorry, but the fact that you opted to argue about your overhead, instead of considering a combo price restructuring, tells me that customer satisfaction is not a top priority. This was my first time here. The restaurant is in a small storefront and really does not look appealing but once you go inside, you are transported into an honest BBQ joint. The food was good, the smells, atmosphere, everything was appealing. I would highly recommend.

Do yourself a favor and try this place. Almost left cause outside looked empty. But wow! The atmosphere is fantastic and the owner is pure Texas.
I was delivering an order from Pig Sty and the owner offered me a free meal that he made on accident. It was pulled pork sliders and was absolutely delicious. The restaurant smelled amazing as well.

The cornbread doesnt taste like cornbread at all. And its dry. The chicken was ok, but only the skin is flavorful. The rest of the chicken is only good with some sauce on it. No seasoning in it
Great bbq. All home made including the sides. Definitely try the cornbread. The jalapeño has quite a kick! I love the regular w the cinnamon sugar top. Family owned and operated and super friendly and laid back. They do a big takeout business so don't be scared by the empty tables!

We've been going back once every couple weeks because it's the best BBQ in Palm Beach county.. This family works their butts off to provide great food, and the people they're hiring to help, especially Andre is one of the sweetest guys you'll meet - and the FOOD, OMG GREAT. All my neighbors are agreeing with us. Check their specials each day. Sat specials offering Dino Beef Ribs and Brisket Burnt Ends are stellar. Many Saturdays it gets busy because they have local live music which we also love dinner and a show. But last night was nice a quiet with steady take out orders, but only a few tables full so it was very comfortable environment. We really like it both ways there. The Food is off the charts! My gal tried the BBQ chicken dinner, and she was raving about it later that evening and next morning. The pulled pork is great there too, but I also go with the Beef Ribs, and brisket normally. Many people get the very generous and delicious ribs. You've gotta have the collared greens; by far best we've ever had. This family is clearly dedicated to providing the community with best food possible and they should be proud. Very nice environment, and GREAT BBQ dinners.

I go there at least once a week for my pulled pork fix. I like it with the house made coleslaw. Mac and cheese is very creamy and filling. I highly recommend giving it a try
