Food is good. Always tasty. But the service is painfully slow. Ordered a pizza and pasta dish to go on Uber Eats and it took 45 mins for it to be ready in a day the restaurant wasn’t busy. My pizza was made 30 mins before I got my food so I had to insist it was put back in the oven as it was cold from waiting for so long.

I have reviewed this restaurant 2x prior to this one. My grandson & his new bride were coming to visit & wanted to bring lunch. They normally pick up food at another Italian restaurant but I told them that Portobello had delicious food but there was always an issue. He was willing to give them a chance. I texted him all the pertinent information & he called placing the order while driving from Ft. Lauderdale. Of course the order wasn't ready & he had to wait an additional 20-30 minutes.. Now understand the order consisted of 3 hero sandwiches. Nothing complicated. When he finally arrived here he started to tell me about his experience & I jokingly said "It was the chef's fault". That's exactly what he was told & as you can see from my previous comments that's what is always the case. Yes the food was & is delicious & they were extremely happy with my recommendation but management really needs to make some adjustments with their ridiculously long wait times.

Very slow service, food came out lukewarm and flavorless. I had chicken franchise, and my daughter had lasagna. She didn’t like the lasagna and said the sauce had a very strange taste like cheap sauce out of a can. My chicken had almost no flavor. I had to put lots of salt and pepper on it and squeeze the lemon to get any kind of flavor. Even the salad dressing was bland. The only thing good was the garlic rolls. will not be going back. I think Olive Garden would’ve been better.

We went to the restaurant for the first time tonight. We waiting 15 for a table (not a problem) when we sat down nobody came over to us and 2 other tables were sat. A waiter eventually went to the 2 other tables and never acknowledged us. The table next to us got their soups 35 minutes after placing their order. When we heard that we got up and left. Poorly run. Looked as if nobody was in charge leaving the wait staff running around like chickens without a head. We will not be back.

Favorite Italian restaurant in the area. Cannot overstate the incredible fresh baked bread that accompanies most dishes.. the sauces are authentic and homemade.. the pricing is fair.. it is really special, all said, it is by far, my favorite Italian restaurant in the Boynton Beach area.. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!

I absolutely love coming to this restaurant. The food is always delicious and the prices are just right. My dad and I come here a lot and we share the wine which is generally two for one. We get a large pepperoni pizza and sometimes a sandwich to share as well. The dinners are delicious and they have an early bird special. I really do loveto come here

Please hire more servers or stop over booking your tables!!! Hate to say this but this place won’t survive 2 more seasons!! We witnessed 2 tables walk out, a waiter ignoring us because he was rushing to take an order from another table, my wife asked for soda for our daughter the guy ignores us twice and he just said you’ll have to wait like everyone else and we waited 30mins for our salad. Never coming back here!!

Got the chicken parm pasta and it was disgusting the chicken was bad there was barley any pasta sauce on my food it was basically chicken with plain noodles and my garlic bread was burnt first time and last time I'm ever gonna buy food from here cause they did everything bad
