We celebrated my oldest son’s birthday last night. We had a table like a ship’s bridge and that gave us the bird’s view. Everyone looked happy with the service and the delicious food kept coming to the very happy patrons. Our server was a very polite young man JP was his name and not only he was very pleasant but since I speak Greek it was very enjoyable for me to communicate in our native language. The food was excellent, served hot, perfectly cooked and plenty. The five of us enjoyed the Greek flavor and aroma. The birthday candle was lighted on a delicious plate of baklava, and sponge cake, it thrilled my son and me as the atmosphere made me feel that I was back to the country I was born.

The kabob had a mustard sauce on it that wasn't mentioned on the menu. It was too strong. If I was ordering it again, I would check on whether they were using that and put it on the side. Since when does a Greek restaurant use mustard sauce? Lemon yes, not mustard!

I am Celiac and have a hard time eating out. This was just perfect with several items to choose from. Our waiter Roberto was very helpful and his attention and service were great. One in our party has enjoyed home cooked Greek food for most of his life and is a New Yorker. He was thrilled. Moussaka, Octopus, Eggplant appetizer, Greek salad, Greek wine. Highly recommend!!!

Have been to this restaurant multiple times over the last few years. Generally has been a relaxed environment. Tables inside seem to be closer than usual and noise made it harder to have a conversation. Menu changed and several vegetarian options eliminated. This made it challenging for my wife who doesn't eat meat much seafood. Prices have gone up not unexpectedly but a dinner for two where I got the orzo seafood and my wife got a Mediterranean salad with halloumi and a Diet Coke as well as one glass of wine and tip were just shy of $100 for a couple. The food quality though remains the draw and has continued to be high-quality.

The restaurant exudes a charming Mediterranean vibe, from the rustic decor to the lively buzz of diners, which seems to echo the ambiance of a bustling Greek taverna. Be prepared for a busy atmosphere, as this spot is clearly popular.
The food is the undeniable star here. The hummus and pita were a standout—smooth, fresh, and incredibly flavorful, with warm, perfectly toasted pita bread that was practically addictive. The saganaki (flaming cheese) added a fun and delicious flair to the table, and the Arni Yiouvetsi, featuring a tender, fall-off-the-bone lamb shank in a hearty tomato-based orzo, was absolutely phenomenal. The steak kabob was cooked to perfection, with a smoky char that highlighted the high-quality meat. The Mediterranean salad was a refreshing complement, loaded with crisp veggies, tangy feta, and a vibrant dressing.
The wine list had some good options, but I couldn’t help but notice that a few of the lower-end wines seemed overpriced for their quality. On the cocktail side, the offerings were decent but not particularly memorable, though they paired well with the food.
Service was fine—not overly attentive but efficient enough considering how busy the restaurant was.
If you’re here for the food, Souvlaki GR delivers in spades with authentic Greek flavors and hearty, satisfying dishes. It’s a bit chaotic at times, but that only adds to the charm. Highly recommended for a true taste of Greece in Boynton Beach. Four stars!

As I said to the owner on the way out, "Anyone else who claims they are serving Greek food is a fraud!" What a wonderful place. Charming atmosphere, whether at the bar, or a table or outside. Extensive menu with something for everyone .. chicken, fish, beef Authentic Greek cuisine at fair prices, Excellent service, full bar and amazing desserts. You will be glad you went! And you will be back, like we have been, over and over!
