Tropical Smoothie Cafe

I recently visited this location and had a very disappointing experience. From the moment I walked in, no one greeted or welcomed me, and the overall atmosphere felt unprofessional with very low energy from the staff.

The young woman with orange braids working the register was rude throughout the interaction. She did not smile once, seemed annoyed while taking my order, and made me feel like I was bothering her by being there. The only employee who was friendly and welcoming was a young woman I believe was named Queen, but she was busy and unable to help me.

My smoothie was also poorly made. It was way too thick, not blended properly, and still had large chunks of fruit and ice in it. I also noticed the young man making my smoothie had a lot of hair and was not wearing a hair net, which raised concerns about cleanliness and food safety.

Overall, the poor customer service, rude cashier, poorly prepared smoothie, and lack of proper hygiene made for a terrible experience. I will not be returning and would rate this location a 0/10.

I had $50 when walking into this place, my order came out to $39.50 and I got no change back. The service here also sucks. I was here before someone and they were getting service before I even got my smoothies and the employees act they they don’t even wanna be working here.

They have false advertisement on their door saying if you sign up you get a free smoothie you don't. I had to pay for my smoothie then the girl at the register rounded up without telling me! Which is unacceptable!! then I asked her about the food. She knew NOTHING. Place needs to hire and TRAIN! Place was very depressing. Floor was unclean. There was trash on the tables outside not going back

I absolutely LOVE Jackie at this location. So friendly, amazing customer service and so outgoing. Plus they make amazing smoothies and everyone always has a smile on their faces. Highly recommend

This peanut butter crunch bowl is a lot smaller.than it used to be for the price. I come here a lot and the bowl is usually filled. The bowl advertised definitely looks different.

the store should be opened at 8 am. I ordered a smoothe using mobile app and confirmed at 8:08 am and pick up at 8:18am. when I got there at 8:20am, there was no one at the place. lights were off. no one was answering the phone. I couldn't even cancel the order because ASAP pick up orders cannot be canceled. I came back at 9:15 and it was opened. I said I was here earlier and it was closed, I was expecting an apology and some kind of excuses like 'oh we forgot the daylight saving' stuff. but the employee just pointed a drink and said 'is that your drink?' it was already watery and color changing.

if you want to start your day with a delicious smoothie early in the morning, I recommend you avoid this location.

I rarely say this bad of review for anybody- However... Whoever the young lady was that worked (and I use that word very loosely) last evening was horrible. The drinks were the worst we have ever had - watery, no flavor whatsoever. And her attitude was horrible.

Ordered a salad and got a wrap. Ordered no tomatoes and got tomato. So annoying to not get what you ordered and paid for. Prices have gone way too high to not get what I wanted. Will skip this location.

This is my local Tropical, and although I come in more than twice a week, it's always a disappointment.

My go-to is the Detox Island Green, and I substitute the banana for kiwi, but the fruit is just never ripe enough. You could tell when drinking it. They also add way too much ginger to the point that the smoothie is spicy.

The service is always good, and had I had more time to order in person rather than just the app, I could have added honey or something to make the smoothie sweeter, but it's either a hit or a miss.

This location is always crowded, and usually very clean. Can't say much for the bathroom, which can always be cleaner.

Overall, I think two stars is essentially what this location deserves.
