Tropical Smoothie Cafe

This is my local Tropical, and although I come in more than twice a week, it's always a disappointment.

My go-to is the Detox Island Green, and I substitute the banana for kiwi, but the fruit is just never ripe enough. You could tell when drinking it. They also add way too much ginger to the point that the smoothie is spicy.

The service is always good, and had I had more time to order in person rather than just the app, I could have added honey or something to make the smoothie sweeter, but it's either a hit or a miss.

This location is always crowded, and usually very clean. Can't say much for the bathroom, which can always be cleaner.

Overall, I think two stars is essentially what this location deserves.

On July 30th, I ordered two Acai bowls and paid $24.87. One was an Acai with Nutella, it was made wrong….with mostly fruit and no base. After waiting 15 minutes, I asked to have the Nutella bowl remade because the proportions were off. Joanah initially told me no, he could’ve remake it, then said I have to wait 30+ to have it be remaid.

Other customers came in, paid, and received their orders before me. Frustrated, I asked for a refund, but Joanah told me to “leave,” which was rude. I had already waited about 50 minutes total, and there was no manager available to assist.

This poor customer service ruined my day and appetite. The experience was extremely disappointing.

usually i go and the workers are very nice, and not that they weren’t today they were just quiet. I get my drinks which take longer than my food and my smoothie has chunks in it. I can barely sip it and I could tell the girl making my smoothie was new. If you are going to hire someone obviously new I do think that there should be more training involved.

I didn't even dine or order anything from this place but one of the employees was screaming and cursing obscenities while she was on the phone while my kids and I were right outside dining. Completely unprofessional as well as trashy employee.

I stopped going to this location about a few months back due to the uninviting customer service. Today, I tried once again, ordered two Mango Magic smoothies as usual. Both smoothies were made incorrectly (without any sweetener) and watery. The two American egg wraps had little to no bacon in both wraps. $54 breakfast wasted. This location can’t seem to get it together. It’s a definite NO for me!!

Unfortunately, I can't find myself going back here. I remember trying to eat my food inside while the staff kept on screaming laughing and describing very loudly about some excrement in the bathroom. I would have just moved outside but there was not seating available at that time. I understand they are young, but in my view, if they did not have the sense to mind their language in the front of house, how closely were they following sanitary food guidelines in back of house. Also.. every time I try to even think about walking back in there I keep thinking about that disgusting talk while I was eating my food.

The staff here are so nice and whenever i see who i think is the manager, she brings a smile to my face. The price is a little high but it is delicious so i think its worth it. Great for vegetarians who need some quick nutrients and protein.

Can you guys pls remove this as a drive thru location on google? I was scrambling to find a drive thru in the area that wasn’t McDonald’s. I had my baby in the car and was looking for something easy. Found this on google that stated drive thru and even had a picture. Lo and behold I get here and there is no drive thru. Disappointed

I know you guys are better than this, but it's super frustrating to have huge chunks of ice in my shake

Place was infested with small flies … which can only mean one thing … the place is dirty … not the staffs fault it all starts with how little management cares abt these places .
