Holy Moly! This place. I don't even have the words to describe how amazingly delicious the food is! The service and hospitality, specifically Ebony, are top-notch.
We tried just about everything. There wasn't one thing we wouldn't order again. We just happened to find this restaurant and we ate so happy we did. The restaurant inside was so quaint. EVERY table had fresh flowers! All the drinks were served in little Mason jars. It was such a vibe. Delicious, pleasant, and a great memory. I live in Virginia, and I'd take a trip just to eat this again!

Kid-friendliness: Very, there is something for everyone

Pulled pork and original BBQ sauce were tasty but the smoked chicken was undercooked. Not because it was still pink as I smoke my own meats and know the look but it was actually not fully cooked to the bone. Mac and cheese and cornbread were also tasty and fresh. My real disappointment was that the staff seemed almost annoyed by our presence. Had to ask for BBQ sauce, silverware, and water. I know it's south florida but you kind of expect more hospitality from a lo ally owned restaurant.

I feel like this joint was hot at one point. Pulled pork sandwich was basic. No option for extra sauce without costing your arm. The drink and side costing the other. Side of Mac was sub par. Service is not the best. Can’t say I’m in a hurry to come back to eat here. ? oh the high chairs, they need to be pressure washed or they can sanded down and refinished or something cuz they are bad

Not to sure what’s going on here at Troy’s BBQ. Went here on 10/18/2024 and they had me wait 20 mins in the drive through. Just to tell me to order at the window. I pull up to the window & they looked pissed off in there, I just drove off. Maybe short staffed? Why not just get rid of the drive through and make it a dine in only? Food is good but not worth waiting that long and paying those prices.

I’ve had way better. If you know bbq, you know they can do better.

New year, new look! Personally I think Troy’s BBQ has some of the best ribs and BBQ I’ve ever had. If you know anything about BBQ, you know Dreamland is in Alabama - I’d say Troy’s has it beat! Also, randomly, they have amazing breakfast sandwiches. Literally the best I've ever had in Florida.

2nd visit this week. Friday afternoon after 1 pm. Wife got served the last piece of brisket it was dry tuff. I had the rib dinner. Both ordered corn bread was in process of cooking, didn't receive till late into the meal, also order a coke never got and ask several times for it ; I understand it look like it was only two people there. Second visit was today 9-11-24 @around 12:30 ran out of several items, that crazy it's lunch time. Went to pay for my rib dinner noticed no BBQ sauce which is what I like at Troys. I question the gentleman about the sauce, he stated it's in the process of being prepped. He was out of the sweet and original BBQ sauce; he only had the spicy which I can't do. Ask for refund. They had no problem giving me my refund. We've been coming here for the last 3 to 4 years. Definitely not cheap to eat here. I spend roughly around 60$most of the time. Get it together Troy's definitely won't be back to this location.
