Anna Maria Oyster Bar on the Pier

My boyfriend and I decided to go here for our last night on the island and it did not disappoint. From the amazing food that we were recommended by our server and the food that we received it was a great experience. Our waitress Kelly G was amazing! She was personable and was very attentive to our table as well as others. It was a very enjoyable experience and we are very glad we chose this spot for our last night on the island!

Found this on Trip Advisor and then Google. Both had a lower score than I'd give. Beautiful Friday afternoon outside and great service from Sam. Even though we only ordered fried food, it was all delicious. The fried oysters were yummy with a nice batter coating. The fish in the Fish and Chips dish were not battered (my preference), but very tasty and abundant. Fries were good as well. $7 for a Coors Light aluminum. Loved the condiment container with attached lid--good for waterfront dining. Atmosphere outside is what brought us here but we were both pleasantly surprised with everything.

So sorry to review this negatively. We have visited here lots of times and always fab.. but yesterday we were met with hostility from the bar person. No friendly welcome . No pleasant conversation or answers to our questions. Menus thrown down and when asked for help was met with a sarcastic reply....we understand that we all get stressed in busy times and with life but this was uncomfortable
