I was here in a large group. I ordered the linguine and clams. For the price of the dish, I thought it would be fairly large or come with a side salad or maybe bread. However, there was no side, and I was still hungry after paying over $50 for a dish and a drink... and the pasta was just okay.

We wanted pasta, they only have 1 pasta dish, which is fine, it came with clams they had lots of clams, but they ran out of box pasta. Really unexceptable. You can never run out of box pasta!!!

We are in town visiting family and came here. I was a bit disappointed in the food.We hadAjillo fillet (very good)Thai nugs (skip these)Pecan grouperThai grouper (this was a specual)CuippinoChips and ranch (very good)Corn muffins. (Very good)The Ajillo was tender and cooked well. The Thai seasoning was really goodSkip the nugs as they were over cooked and chewy. Not great.Thai grouper as the special was really good. Probably the best dish we had.The cuipinno was fine but the class were over cooked. Too bad.The pecan grouper was good. The asparagus was overcooked so it wasn't great. The grouper was awesome tho.The service was great and friendly.

I can't say enough about the food and service. The house salad with Cesar dressing is excellent. The dressing taste freshly.made and the perfect amount. There were three of us so we shared a large salad which was more than enough. The entrees were all outstanding, this is the only restaurant where there are more shrimp than grits in the bowl, a takeout container was needed. The cioppino is my husband's favorite, he was not disappointed and the swordfish special made my sister's day. The bonus are the warm corn muffins heated with honey and butter. My only negative comment is the cocktails. My sister ordered a Sazerac and I had Lemon Bliss. The presentation was lovely but the drinks had very little flavor. I could taste a faint hint of lemon but no taste of alcohol. The same was true with the Sazerac, there was a hint of rye but tasted like it had sat in ice a while before being put in the glass. The quality of the food outshines this little negative, next time I will order wine.

The food is always outstanding. We enjoy sitting outside. Peaceful. Great service. Greg was our server tonight. We have dinner at BM every year when we come to AMI. Highly recommend.

Drew was our waiter. He was fantastic. He gets timing perfectly! His recommendations were perfect. The clams are the best I have had again in the United States. The brussel sprouts were outstanding. The shrimp and grits never disappoints! The Blue Marlin is a treasure!

Blue Marlin is just wonderful!!! Fabulous food prepared and displayed in a way that let's you know that you are in culinary heaven. It's an intimate setting with mouthwatering food. What more needs to be said?!!! Our family loves to eat here, and I wish we could do so even more often. Our Millennials kids and their spouses, and our nieces and nephews go here every chance they get. Great choice of wines at prices that won't break the bank. And the wait staff is experienced and very knowledgeable about everything served at the restaurant. It's so evident that Adam Ellis and his family are true locals, and want to have all of their guests enjoy their experiences here. An AMI restaurant doesn't have to be "on the water" to be great . . . try it, you'll love it.

Clams with linguine did not have a lot of taste in the sauce although the small clams were tender and tasty. Lobster grilled cheese was very rich. Tables so close together that it was noisy. This is an annual stop for our group. Has gotten very expensive for what you get.

Another February back in the sunshine and The Marlin did not disappoint. Again, ordered the pecan crusted grouper (my husband got the Thai). I LOVED mine and so did he! Two glasses of the Malbec topped it off. Sat outside, even though the weather was not great, our server was tops. Will be back before we drive back north. Thank you, Blue Marlin!

Covid kept us away for a couple years but blue marlin is every bit as good if not better. The food was creative and excellent ; well prepared and presented, and our server was terrific. We'll be back next week!!!
