Absolutely horrible hosting and service. People jumping through the line, sitting wherever they want, grabbing tables that parties are waiting for, and hostess not doing anything about it. Hoped to have a great experience while on our trip but ended up waiting for 30 minutes and leaving after watching the nightmare of trying to be seated. Avoid it

My first time there was in 1999, the food was better, totally different menu and of course a much better value, didn't have the bar, which I prefer, I want to come to the beach and experience the beach not live music so loud I am unable to converse with others, Jimmy Buffett with an acoustic guitar at happy hour, maybe a drum circle like out on siesta key, but not Marshall stacks blaring AC/DC measuring 3.5 on the Richter scale. Personally I was disappointed with the change, the way they opened it up was good but, a noisy bar on the beach in a place that used to be more peaceful and quiet not my cup of tea. But I love the splendor of mother nature, that is what I love about Florida, it's not always easy to live in Florida, there is red tide, storm surge, hurricanes, heat and humidity, wildlife, insects and it's a lot of work, if you do the work yourself. You have to be willing to deal with the adversity and extreme conditions sometimes. Life is short enjoy every moment to the best of your ability, just reading a book in a place like Anna Maria can be very enjoyable, so relaxing.

We visited while at the beach. The service was slower than expected and not very friendly, and at times it felt like we were more of an inconvenience than guests. The food was okay, though a bit pricey for what it was.
What stood out most was the payment experience. When it was time to pay, our waitress entered a tip amount on the screen herself instead of allowing us to select or enter one. Thankfully we noticed and were able to back out, but it was uncomfortable and not something customers should have to watch for.
Tips should always be left to the guest’s discretion. I hope management addresses this, as it left a disappointing final impression.

We had a magical sunset evening at the Gulf Drive Cafe . We asked for a table just at the beach line. The view was spectacular with gorgeous fire reds and pinks as the sun set on a shimmering gulf . Madison our server was attentive and very sweet. We also met Voula who greeted us like family! My sister in law ordered the food which was really very good with an array of fish bites and a platter that included some Greek traditional items .

We had an incredible experience at The Kokonut Hut today. The service was perfection! Madison was so attentive and very pleasant to be around. Plus, you can’t beat the restaurant and bar being literally on the beach! Highly recommend!

We were here for Sunset on Thanksgivings. My family are chef at luxury hotel so my palate might be different from normal patron. The Food is pass-able nothing to come back for. But the view under the cabana under the propane heater is heavenly. WILL ONLY COME BACK FOR THE VIEW!
