My first time there was in 1999, the food was better, totally different menu and of course a much better value, didn't have the bar, which I prefer, I want to come to the beach and experience the beach not live music so loud I am unable to converse with others, Jimmy Buffett with an acoustic guitar at happy hour, maybe a drum circle like out on siesta key, but not Marshall stacks blaring AC/DC measuring 3.5 on the Richter scale. We visited while at the beach. The service was slower than expected and not very friendly, and at times it felt like we were more of an inconvenience than guests. The food was okay, though a bit pricey for what it was.

What stood out most was the payment experience. When it was time to pay, our waitress entered a tip amount on the screen herself instead of allowing us to select or enter one. Thankfully we noticed and were able to back out, but it was uncomfortable...

We had a magical sunset evening at the Gulf Drive Cafe . We asked for a table just at the beach line. The view was spectacular with gorgeous fire reds and pinks as the sun set on a shimmering gulf . Madison our server was attentive and very sweet. We also met Voula who greeted us like family! My sister in law ordered the food which was really very good with an array of fish bites and a platter that included some Greek traditional items .
