This is one of the most lovely courtyard small restaurants on Anna Maria. You should go, it's great food, awesome atmosphere and wonderful service.

I went with my fiancé and my friend, we had a amazing time! The food was absolutely delicious, our waitress was really nice and caring, the chef pass by the tables to see if everyone is satisfied. The musician was pretty good and funny, our valet guy was really nice too! I'm looking forward to go back for more!

Waiter acted like he wanted to be somewhere else. Took for ever for him to come back. I spent over $50.00 on a Filet Mignon. I had a better steak for $15.00 other places. Was not cooked to my order. Dry and very little taste.

We had the pleasure of Dan being our server for the evening whilst on holiday in Anna Maria. We were lucky enough to sit outside, they lit all the lanterns and turned on the fans (even though it was only us outside). The food was incredible and the service was perfect! One of our best evenings out together, and the best meal we’ve had. Thankyou to Dan and the rest of the team! We hope to come back one day. :) - Meg & Will from the UK

For the price, the food is nothing to write home about. It lacks the finesse one expects at this price point
The burrata salad should be fresh and light. But the peaches are grilled with a balsamic glaze and so provide no counterpoint to the dressing. The chicken schnitzel was a nice piece of meat. But it was fried too hard. The flavors are also Italian rather than German. The black grouper was lovely: Well seasoned and cooked perfectly. The corn pudding was lush and tasty. But the Thai tomato jam was just sautéed grape tomatoes in a sharp sauce. The ratatouille vegetables never made the plate. The filet steak was ordered medium rare but came closer to medium well. It was a nice piece of meat, but there was no pink. At $54, one should get the desired temperature. Cauliflower potatoes and broccolini were excellent. The puréed carrots are an unnecessary addition
There is a dearth of high quality restaurants on the island. As such, I might recommend the Salt Bar & Table for a fun night out. But I wouldn’t send anyone there for a great meal

Welp, with the reviews so high we went here with high hopes. We arrived to find the parking lot empty with cones blocking the stalls and a valet sign but nobody there. So I parked myself, just to be met at the door by the valet who insisted reparking my car.
We ordered the catch if the day tacos (grouper) and a chicken schnitzel.
The tacos came out and stunk. Smelled like old fish. I took a bite and instantly feared getting sick. It must of been the catch of the day because it was old and they needed to get rid of it. Discounting. Especially for around $30 for two tacos. I’ve never had tacos stink and taste like rancid fish. This is supposed to be an upper scale restaurant.
The schnitzel was also not what we were expecting. Didn’t taste bad, but it was more of a chicken Parmesan dinner with a salad on top of it.
We won’t be back and would not recommend this place to anybody. If you read comments, I warned ya.

Salt was everything we wanted and more! The food, the service, and the atmosphere was incredible! Our favorite part was the Valet Bill! He made us feel welcomed and joked with us from the second we pulled up.
About average experience, having been there the last 3 years or so I think there are better options we have found.

We had such a wonderful experience at Salt and Bar! The shrimp pasta was absolutely amazing — perfectly cooked pasta, tender shrimp, and a delicious sauce that had just the right amount of flavor. My kids were thrilled with their meals too, especially the cheeseburger, which my daughter rated a solid 5 out of 5! To make the evening even more special, the chef personally came out to greet her, which completely made her night. It was such a thoughtful touch and really added to the warm, welcoming atmosphere. Dan, the manager was great too and told us about the history of the restaurant and Anna Maria. It’s definitely on the price side but everything on the island is expensive. Treat yourself to a wonderful dinner! ,

Stay away from this horrible dinning experience, asked for seafood pasta to be garlic oil comes out with only pure olive oil like the one you serve to kids, out of clams supposedly substituted for more shrimp, dish comes out with 3 mini shrimps and please dont say is homemade pasta, i own a restaurant myself this is far from anything homemade. Lets not forget to mention the pasta dish is $45. My wifes main dish was burned and soo dry and the response of server was Sure i get you more sauce.. horrible horrible horrible. Surprised how they are in business and more surprised by other good reviews

Bad really bad! Cosmo cocktail literally tasted like its been made and left on jar that just quick served , eggplant lasagna burned and super super dry, place was empty so no excuse on being busy or something like that. Over all waste of money.
