I was told this place had the best prime rib, so we drove down from the Jax area to find out. Well worth the trip - it's some of the better prime rib I've had. Served rare with fries and a trip to their Well stocked salad bar. Perfect! Right on the river. We'll return.

Sandy Point Restaurant is a hidden gem, offering a dining experience that pairs great food with incredible views of the Santa Fe River. If you’re a steak lover, their perfectly cooked steaks are a must-try, juicy and tender with rich flavor. For those visiting on a Friday night, the prime rib special is the star of the show—succulent, savory, and cooked to perfection.

Seafood lovers will also be pleased with their shrimp, served alongside creamy, comforting grits and crispy hush puppies. The shrimp are fresh, and the Southern accompaniments make for a satisfying and well-balanced dish.

Make sure to save room for dessert! The sweet treats are sourced from a nearby bakery, ensuring the quality and freshness are top-notch. Whether you’re craving a classic pie or something a bit more indulgent, the dessert menu won’t disappoint.

The ambiance is laid-back yet inviting, and the panoramic views of the Santa Fe River elevate the dining experience to a whole new level. Whether you’re coming for a special occasion or just a casual night out, Sandy Point delivers consistently excellent food with a serene riverside atmosphere. Highly recommended for both locals and visitors alike!

The food was great, we highly recommend. I had the Scallops and they were huge, so tender and delicious. My husband had the shrimp they were also delicious. Everyone was so friendly and helpful. And of course the view of the water while we ate was so nice. We will be going back soon.

The husband and I went there today for lunch. The menu is very small, so we went the safe route (burgers and side salad bar). The salad bar wasn’t horrible, but $7 for a single tiny plate is a bit much. When the burgers came out, though, it was a whole other story. Both of our burgers were completely burnt on the outside (literally black and ashy), but still pink on the inside. I ate very little of it, because I simply couldn’t stomach it. Fast forward to this evening, and we’re both sick. Oh, and with tip, our bill was $65. Too expensive, and horrible food. We won’t be back. It’s a shame, because they’re close to our house.
