I've lived in Brooksville for many years but have never tried this restaurant/bar. After hearing that it is finally completely non-smoking , I needed to try one of their talked-about burgers. Worth the wait, very delicious and obviously hand-patted. Some places refuse to cook medium rare or rare but they will and do justice to the meat:). Great server and owner/manager who made us feel welcome and taken care of. Very, very casual and yes, delightfully funky...a Brooksville hidden gem!

Cold draft beer and a beautiful chicken wings and hamburgers and cheese nerds and oh my goodness everything was so fantastic I was so full and still got to bring some home was awesome if I lived near I'd go back again but I'm far away have a nice day God bless Merry Christmas

We were driving by, saw this cute little bar, decided to stop in. I got their chicken wings, hubby got a burger. Everything is made to order. Best wings I've had in a long time! Felt very welcome there. Everyone, patrons included, was very friendly

1943. This little cottage with tons of character started out as a gas station. Imagine the stories lurking within those old heart pine walls! And the new owners are adding more chapters to its rich history.A nice change from your concrete & mortar corporate watering holes, it ain't nothing fancy or new.Many tales of tasty burgers lured us off the road and into The Crossroads! Finally.I backed the ol' F250 into a perfect spot in the dirt parking lot. An easy task as we were the only vehicle there....for now.We were greeted at the door by Laurie, a name often mentioned in 5-Star reviews. Turns out those reviews were right! About Laurie and as we were soon to find out, those hamburgers!Accompanied by my Fab One we bellied up to the bar, ordered an adult beverage and without hesitation we both ordered Cheeseburgers all the way.As we sat there, we looked around and tried to picture the past in this place. It was a cool feeling.In no time we were treated to the sweet sound of sizzling meat. A wave of juicy OHHHH-romas swept us up and teased us! Mouthwatering wow was all around us!We heard a splash. Followed by that crinkling bubbling sound of crisping French fries.Our baskets o' burgers were soon to be.In not time, Laurie brought them out. Big damn burgers!Really good damn burgers..A stream of flavor fell as I munched down. A rain of molecules. Of grease. The good stuff.REALLY enjoyed the entire occasion. Meeting Laurie. Seeing the inside of this place after wondering for so long. And biting into those burgers. EVERYTHING we expected and hoped for. And more...
The burgers were absolutely fabulous the clientele they were just as fabulous the wings are OK but I would definitely go back for the burgers

The service is great and so is the food. The new owners seem to be optimistic but some of the old patrons in there are really stuck in the dark ages when the patriarchal views reigned. So sexy smart ladies show your face and give the old thinkers something to contemplate. As I said, they have great food, service and prices are top really good too. Visit this place with your powerful women and all people if color. ??

Stopped by yesterday w hubby. Met Paul and Kristina. Burgers and wings were outstanding beverages ice cold. NO smoking ìnside was a big plus. Thank you week we will be back.

Great food, friendly atmosphere. New owners cleaning the place up. First thing he did was stop the smoking inside which is awesome, I can go there and have a couple beer and a burger and not smell like a chimney when I leave. Try it out!
