I have been getting takeout here for years, and always been happy. This is not a place you go for the ambience, but for the food. Their prices have gone up a bit, but considering the state of the economy they are still a bargain. I ordered about $30 and got enough to eat well for 5 dinners!
We always try to place our order over the phone instead of online bc we have issues with the online ordering. I called in to place a order to have delivered to be told we dont have that for combination platter puts me on hold to confirm with chef. Go & give them a second option oh we dont have that either. But it shows differently online. Make it make sense. Maybe fix your menu then.I dont think the girl taking the orders knows what she is talking about. Asked to speak to someone else she wouldnt get someone else.Too bad we change our order a bit bc my bf had the taste for something different.Guess wont be ordering from here for a while.

if you move/visit Brooksville don't waste your taste buds or money at any other restaurant, we've gone to Evergreen for 5 straight years for take out, they do NOT seat you since Covid.
This place deserves an updated review. They are amazing!! I rated this place like 3 stars several years ago but they deserve 5 now. We have been eating here for the last 6-7 years. We have seen this place go thru its ups & downs. Years ago, there would be times we were dissatisfied.. but sometimes it was decent. We finally started ordering take out at the Chinese buffet by the Petco on Cortez b/c the quality was always great, however it cost twice as much as this place and it was a far drive.. and my kids complained that the general tso chicken at evergreens was way better.At some point in the last year or two, evergreen really stepped up their game. We have resumed eating here at least once or twice a month again and every single time it’s hot, fresh, and flavorful. And the price is great. We always order on their website and if you order like $40 or more they give you a free full size general tso chicken. That free general tso coupon is a huge reason why we keep coming back. You can’t get better for the price. Our order always consists of a shrimp rolls, egg rolls, full size general tso, beef w/ Chinese veg, sweet and sour - 1 chicken and 1 shrimp, shrimp fried rice, lo mein, krab rangoons and fried donuts. Sometimes we get an order of buffalo wings which are good and always well marinated. Plus they give us a 2nd general tso for free and all that only costs $50!! I feed my family a feast for dinner, plus lunch the next day! The beef with Chinese veg is really great. Generous portion of tender beef, with fresh snow peas, fresh green beans, bamboo, broccoli, carrots, etc. it’s amazing.It’s not just the kitchen that deserves high praise. Everyone working there contributes to the high standards this place has now. You’ll never pick your food up and realize you’re missing items. They never forget to give you exactly what you order! And it’s always packaged with great care, even with little napkins wrapped around the bottom of the egg rolls before they are packaged in the egg roll sleeves. And you can tell the oil they are cooking in is always fresh and clean.I strongly urge you to give this place a shot. Especially if you tried them years ago and was unhappy. Idk if they are under new management or what but they are doing a killer job. This is our one and only Chinese takeout spot.The only thing I wish they would put on the menu is a dish like the coconut shrimp from the buffet on Cortez. If evergreen served a bang bang or coconut shrimp style dish, I’d be ordering from this place 1-2 a week!! If not more! Pleeeassseee add a coconut shrimp ? ❤️

This is the best meal we’ve had from Evergreen in I’d say the last 8 years. We were actually floored by the quality and flavor of everything we ordered! We ordered delivery, and it got here very quickly but the food was fresh, and the egg rolls were definitely good.

I’m so beyond annoyed! I ll start by saying I understand it’s Friday a busy delivery night. Called to place a fairly large order, an hour wait, no problem. Hour 15 I called to check in, we live in the forest might be lost. Nope told he’s on his way, okey-dokey. I m 12 minutes from the restaurant so I called again 30 minutes later and they said he’s on his way.Well after much confusion the manager tells me the driver has to come back to the restaurant to pick up more orders and could I come get mine, I am still waiting on a response about a refund and have no dinner it’s almost 9.
Very nice service, always friendly. Great soup and house lo mein. Wish the egg rolls tasted a little better. Overall I'm very satisfied going here. The customer service cannot be beat.

New menu some thing were delicious, however some things like the egg rolls are not good a comparison to the original ones at all , I liked the pepper steak very tender and seasoned & the lo mein. Gotta fix the egg roll situation seriously ? what is that pork ? I like clean ,fresh wings & egg rolls if nothing else. However I live in the community so I will not give up on them.

First and last time I’ll spend any $ here. Prices good. Fast pick up. The food was disgusting. Crab Rangoons just cream cheese and overcooked. Teriyaki beef stic were so tough and little flavor. Steamed dumplings gross. The only thing edible was pork fried rice and fortune cookies. Buy frozen at WD!!
