Truely disappointed here. I think I really had high expectations because of all the good reviews.
I had the catfish basket with fries and collard greens and side of gator tail.
The cat fish was muddy, liek it hadnt been soaked at all, the fries were ehh okay I mean they're fries nothing special. The collard greens...never in my life have I tasted greens like that. I couldn't stomach a few bites. I've lived in Florida my whole life, never have I ever eaten greens like this. There is a flavor I can't describe, but it is so over powering and pungent, really gross. Reminded myself of swamp muck.
I asked to trade it for coleslaw, well that failed too. It's like they forgot to add vinegar and or honey, very bland I had to dump some remoulade sauce in it for flavor.
The remoulade, tarter sauce, and sweet tea was probably the best parts of the meal.
Oh and the gator bites, are gator nibbles. So tiny and over cooked. Gators has you beat on the bites by far.

It was my 1st time there. Loved 💖 this part of Brooksville. The food is made from scratch, the hospitality is amazing and the atmosphere was wonderful! Will be coming back with family and friends so they too can enjoy what's in town!

It's "campy" with friendly service and plenty of food. Try a side of the tomato gravy or Oceechobe Gumbo.!

Fast service and excellent food. Went with 10 people and everyone enjoyed their meal. I had the Cuban sandwich with rice and black beans. It was awesome. Others raved about the Brisket sandwich and the huge pancakes. FYI - CASH

We stopped in for brunch today, the wait was long (45 minutes) but that is understandable due to the small size, but we just distracted ourselves with about 20 of their brown sugar bourbon mimosas till our table was ready 😂 by the time it was we were all sauced up and ready to eat everything in sight hahaha we had the cinnamon roll which was large and delicious, the brisket burrito, the cattle drive burger, the shrimp and grits, the western omelette, biscuits and gravy, and the chicken fried steak and honestly everything was delicious, arrived quickly and our waitresses were all very kind and attentive. I would definitely recommend this cool local spot to anyone in the mood for a delicious and lively brunch at a very affordable price point!

I ALWAYS love stopping in at Florida Cracker whether it be the store or the restraunt. Today I got to experience the Tap Room. The food and Drinks were delicious and the staff are all friendly and attentive. I highly recommend anyone driving through Brooksville for any reason to stop in and enjoy a bite at Florida Cracker Kitchen! You won't regret it!
