I walked in, there is no visible menu other than a “special” I didn’t want. Lady asked for my order I said “i don’t know, what do you have?” She proceeded to scream out “we have a new one!!” And handed me a menu from a box. I was so embarrassed, I just picked something and ate in my car. Food was ok I guess…

BRITTANY is amazing When I walked in, I was the only black guy in there so I was kind of nervous to order, but the staff made it so easy for me and the food is so amazing and I really appreciate you all for making my time in Hernando at your restaurant amazing the Cuban sandwiches are the best and should I say to die for

We've just moved to Brooksville in August and boy, am I glad we found this place. My Cuban was delicious and my wife's Reuben looked delightful. And their peanut butter pie (made in house) was so good!
The staff is pleasant and welcoming.
Make your plans now to pay them a visit. We will definitely be going back.

The Cuban sandwich was perfectly pressed with a crispy crust and juicy layers of ham, pork, and pickles that melted together beautifully. The Cajun bean soup had just the right amount of spice, rich and comforting without being heavy. To finish, the peanut butter pie was creamy, decadent, and had a flaky crust that tied everything together. Every bite felt like comfort food made with care — definitely a place worth returning to.

I can't even begin to explain how enjoyable this place is to eat.
Everyone who works there has a big smile on there face.
I have driven past this place countless time on the way home from work. Today my wife and I decided to give it a try.
The parking lot is the only odd thing, just park out back and walk around to the front. Since it faces main street.
I got the Cuban and my wife got a chicken salad sandwich then we split a very good piece of peanut butter pie.
The food was great and the prices are average.
But I think its the general atmosphere here that is most enjoyable.
You can serve great food but if you got a scrappy server it ruins everything.
I didn't get our servers name but she was really the loudest server there lol.
Very good time we will be back 4 sure

Nice place to visit for a quick 1 hour to 90 minutes visit. Portions and prices are reasonable. Friendly staff...plenty of open parking in the back and some on the main street.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Main Street Eatery – Feels Like Family & Tastes Like Home!
Main Street Eatery in Brooksville is hands-down our go-to lunch spot! From the moment you walk in, you’re greeted like family. They consistently serve up the most delicious sandwiches and fresh, flavorful salads—our personal favorites are the chicken salad sandwich “Chickadee Way” and “Brooksville Avenue.” And whatever you do, save room for dessert! Their icebox pie, cobblers and peanut butter pies are pure heaven. Everything is made fresh, served with a friendly smile, and seasoned with the kind of small-town charm that keeps us coming back again and again. If you’re in Brooksville and want amazing food in a welcoming atmosphere, Main Street Eatery is an absolute must!
