A bittersweet final meal.... Permanently closed as of June 3, 2022. After 31 years of serving up some mighty fine Greek, Italian and traditional food this family business will turn off the OPEN sign for good tonight. Owners Dimitri & Mary have served many generations of hungry families over the years. They fed my young family many times. We'd walk in and they knew the routine of grabbing a baby highchair, flipping it upside down as I'd prop my infant daughter's car seat on it. Then 3 years later we had another mouth to feed. My son now occupied that car seat position. To this day, my daughter has fond memories of Mary, a beautiful red head, oohing & aahing over her and always offering her a sugar cookie. That little girl is now 28 years old. My kids grown and on their own we continued the Mykonos II tradition. As I entered another phase of my life, I introduced new people to this piece of Greece on Jefferson Street. And so there I sat today. Eating a final Mykonos lunch. As it happened, I was dining solo. Alone, when I was wishing I could pack the place with all my friends and family! I ordered my all-time favorite Gyro Dinner. A pita heaping with gyro meat, tomato and divine tzatziki sauce plus a Greek salad with a mound of godly potato salad. And I took home an order of Dolmades. Grape leaves stuffed with meat and rice. Delicious! As I contemplated how this building was going to look in a month or so when the new owners bring their new meals, menus and motif it occurred to me to capture the character of Dimitri & Mary in pictures. I strolled around taking pics that will essentially become keepsakes for my kids. And probably for some of you, too. Sadly, Dimitri bid the love of his life a heavenly farewell a few years ago. But today, as I shook his hand, we both reminisced fondly of many wonderful & loving times. He smiled as I mentioned how Mary affected my family. And the extra fond memories my children carry with them. Wonderful memories of Mykonos. Thank you for everything. We will miss you...

This was such a treat. Coming from IL as a snowbird and was looking for a place with options and I was pleasantly surprised. I HIGHLY recommend this place.

This is a rating relative to location. In a more metropolitan area, this place would go out of business, but in an area where Greek and other less mainstream food is hard to find, this place is worth a try. The Greek food is okay. We had a few items, the worst sadly was the gyro which had only half the meet one would expect.

Not good... The gyros meat seems pre-packaged, or frozen, not from a vertical spit...however there was such a small amount of it on my gyros platter it was hard to tell... The gyros had very little meat, and was microwaved...everything hot, including the tomatoes and tsajiki sauce...and the pita. The Greek salad was lame and tasteless, as was the potato salad. And incredibly the unsweetened iced tea literally had a thick, gelatin like texture, and a weird taste. Cannot stomach this place again...
