The food was really good, which made this experience disappointing overall.
When we walked in, the cashier Arianna H was engaged in a personal conversation with a friend. As we stood at the counter ready to pay, she gave us an unwelcoming look and continued talking for several minutes before acknowledging us. It felt as though she expected us to use the self-checkout kiosks rather than providing basic customer service.
On a positive note, the gentleman who brought our food was excellent. He was friendly, attentive, and truly went above and beyond.
The main reason for this review is the lack of cleanliness, specifically the bathrooms. There is one private restroom for men and one for women. The restaurant was not busy at all just us and another couple dining so there was no excuse for the condition they were in. The bathroom was unacceptable. There appeared to be blood on the wall, on the back of the toilet, and on the floor. The toilet paper was also completely out. It raised serious concerns about how often the restrooms are cleaned, if at all.
Good food alone cannot make up for poor customer service and serious cleanliness issues. I hope management addresses these concerns promptly.

David and his entire team at PDQ have been amazing from just their friendly service to helping out their community. I have gotten to know David and his team very well over the past year or so and l worked with them at several community events. I was even fortunate enough to do a fundraiser and help send my son and his Team Florida baseball team to the Dixie World Series in Alabama over the summer. David is passionate about giving back to the community of Hernando County. Most recently David and his team helped to feed volunteers during the Toys for Tots events held this weekend! I know for sure that PDQ gained some new customers after this weekend. We appreciate everything that David and the team at PDQ has done for us.

I personally liked the food — good flavor and decent portions. We paid almost $50 for 2 adults and 1 kid, which felt fair for what we got. The only thing that made me uncomfortable was the table. While we were waiting, we sat down and the surface was extremely sticky, not sure if it was the varnish on the table or if it just wasn’t cleaned properly. It definitely took away from the experience a bit.

The food is usually very good. One of the few chicken places you can eat very healthy at. Don't sleep on their grilled chicken. It is so good, but if you order ahead for pickup just know that you are going to wait. This last time we waited an additional 20 minutes past our pick up time for our food. After multiple visits I can say with confidence the long wait time is the standard and not the exception.

Tonight I came literally a little under 15 minutes before they closed and I was the only one there as a customer. I felt so bad but they were so nice about it. Extra kind made the food and it tasted too perfection like they still took the time out to care about each thing I got Good job night crew.
