Michael, our waiter, was outstanding. He was personable, patient and helpful with very good suggestions from the entree list as well as recommending a good wine choice. Without a doubt he added to an enjoyable dining experience. The food was full of wonderful flavors and tastes. The garlic mashed potatoes, crab cake and desert were magnificent. However, the quality of the steaks, especially for the price, was disappointing. Plus, my wife and my steak were slightly over cooked and not as tender as would be expected. Defiantly not what you would expect from a highly rated, somewhat pricy steak house. I will say that the last visit was superb in comparison and the steaks had a very good wood smoked flavor, unlike this time. Consistency is important, knowing what you’ll be getting creates customer loyalty. Regardless both my Wife and I will visit this establishment again, requesting Michael as our server and hoping Prime 88 becomes a mainstay in our community for years to come.

Really appreciate the staff. They allowed me to bring balloons and presents ahead of time for a birthday dinner. When we arrived they had given us a private room and set up all the animals and gifts. They really went above and beyond with their customer service! Will be back soon!

A PERFECT 10! Last weekend we celebrated our anniversary along with my brother and his wife. We both had July anniversaries, and we wanted to take them to one of our favorite places in BROOKSVILLE. They are recent transplants from New York. We were greeted by friendly faces and escorted to our beautiful table. Our server Kaylynn greeted us and wished us all a happy anniversary. The waitstaff team made sure that our waters and wine glasses were filled. All plates were cleared as we finished each course. There were multiple people helping to make the evening extra special. Kaylynn gave us some guidance on selecting the perfect appetizers and entrées for our dinner. She steered us in a perfect direction and made sure we were not feeling rushed while enjoying the evening. My brother and sister-in-law loved the restaurant and have been talking nonstop about it since Saturday. The food, atmosphere and service was impeccable. Our appetizers were phenomenal. Our dinner was incredible! Every entree we ordered for dinner was cooked exactly as requested and all of the side dishes were amazing. Kaylynn recommended some desserts and they were over the top delicious! I would highly recommend trying this gem of a restaurant right here in Brooksville. We are so happy that we don’t have to travel to downtown Tampa for a great meal. The General Manager, Brian, visited our table to check on us and also wished all of us a Happy Anniversary. He is a testament to the quality and level of professionalism you experience at Prime 88. Every person who works there gave more than 100% to ensure our evening was exceptional.

I have been going to Prime 88 since their opening and have absolutely loved it. Last year I took my significant other there to celebrate his 65th birthday. It was not a good experience from begin into end. I sent in a review and was further disappointed by their lack of response. This year my significant other chose to go back for his birthday yet again and I reluctantly agreed. Well I can tell you that everything was absolutely amazing and a wonderful. Our waiter and main man Raymond was awesome in every way. The food was excellent and we even met with the general manager Brian Hession who was a wonderful addition to our experience. He was a great guy and welcomed us back in. Overall , I can’t say enough about the experience! I highly recommend Prime 88 for a wonderful dining experience. You will love it! Thank you to Raymond who was awesome!

Wanting to celebrate our 45th Anniversary in style, we chose Prime88 to enjoy this special evening. The most perfect choice by far. We met our amazing server, Keven, whose only focus that night was to make our evening unforgettable. Starting with a Cosmopolitan Grande, we were then invited to take a complementary Anniversary picture, how lovely.
We shared the Calamari for an appetizer, and it was perfect along with the freshly made scrumptious bread. The salads were fresh, crispy, and refreshing. Our dinner selection was the Chateaubriand for 2 with a side of Cauliflower au Gratin. The most perfect decision we could have made. The filet was the most tender, tasty, melt-in-your-mouth piece of meat to ever touch our lips. By far the Star of the evening! The Cauliflower was not too shabby either. The final treat was an a signed Anniversary card accompanying Crème Brûlée!
Brian, the General Manager, stopped by to make sure our dinner was nothing short of perfect, it most certainly was perfection.
