My mom had heard excellent things about Texas Roadhouse, so she wanted to go there while in town visiting recently.
We went during the early afternoon for a late lunch when it wasnât so loud that you canât have a table conversation and had the nicest server I have probably ever had at this restaurant.
My mom and I ordered the appetizer trio (featuring potato skins, fried pickles, and jalapeño poppers) and the filet medallions with portobello mushroom sauce, to share.
The appetizer trio was beautifully served and as expected. I am not personally a fan of jalapeño poppers, but they were cheesy and spicy in all the right ways. Those potato skins: YUM!
Perfect ratio of cheese and bacon over the potato!
The fried pickles could have been dried more or fried more for a better crisp, but they were great, too.
The filet medallions were served on a bed of rice and the portobello mushroom sauce on the side. I have ordered and enjoyed this dish multiple times, but the quality of it seems to have gone downhill. The pieces of meat were not the texture one would expect in a filet, there was a toughness to it, then as I bit into one of the medallions, it was gristled through with fat, so, not a filet cut as it should be. That will be the last time I order that dish.

Brenda, the bartender, is great. She's nice and makes you feel welcome. Our salads were good and cold. My road kill was cooked perfect at well done without it being burnt on the outside. My husband's was cooked medium on the inside but was burnt on the outside lol. Makes no sense. He ate it. He didn't want to say anything. His baked potato was good. My steamed veges were still too hard. The manager told me from now on to order them extra steamed.

Cant give enough stars for service let alone the food. Cheyenne at the bar was amazing. 5 dollar long Islands are a deal. Food was so dam good I couldn't drink lol... prime rib was so good and so tender it was one of my top prime ribs. Definitely recommend this place for anyone looking for a steak fix.

Updated review-
Weâve tried twice to give this location another chance but have truly been let down every visit. Three of our meals were messed up this evening and it was just an overall not great experience yet again. Lesson learned.
We waited for 45 minutes on the waitlist which is convenient because they text you when your table is ready! Upon being seated we realized our benches had not been wiped properly as food was everywhere (no big deal) I unwrapped a silverware and did so myself. My family scooted in and they immediately brought out plates , rolls ex. But within a few seconds we realized the booth had never been cleaned at all! Dirty napkins, knives, forks and food now laid under our freshly laid bread and placings. They never stopped to observe this and I immediately requested a manager as it was pretty grotesque. The manager apologized and offered us two free appetizers. Our appetizers took a long time and the server informed us unfortunately ours had been burnt and needed remade. When the food finally came we unwrapped the new silverware and it had food caked to them and butter smeared into the napkins. I wish I could say something positive about the meal but it was not great nor cooked correctly. The only experience that was pleasant about this visit was the angel of a server we had been blessed with, she absolutely handled every hurdle with poise and grace. This is our 3rd negative experience in the past 2 months and we will probably not be returning to this location. I have been coming here since the opening and itâs never been this bad.
Husbands birthday, he had the 12 oz Ribeye(med rare) and ribs combo. Steak was very rare but he was ok with it, ribs were overcooked and dry they do fall of the bone but dry is dry no matter how much you cake the BBQ on it. I had the full rack of ribs, same thing. Sonny has better ribs than this. I guess you learn from each place what is good and what is not.

EDIT: Funny how within only a few days this whole place has flipped upside down. I donât even know where to start so Iâll just start listing. They used to give out rolls as courtesyâsomething to hold you over until starters and entrees come out. Theyâve become weirdly stingy with them. Turns out they donât even sell them if you try to order at the carry out window. And they charge you for the cinnamon butter now?? The âbuffalo wingsâ are comically small. Not even the size of nuggets. The server we had seemed to be in a bad mood the entire night. I get we all have our off days but this is your place of work and people feel uncomfortable when you make passive aggressive gestures. We found a pick in the food which we later found out was from meat preparation and they didnât remove it. Just one disaster after another. Regardless, we still tipped 20% even though the server didnât deserve it. Please donât dine here until management has changed. The manager who was a younger gentleman was lovely but the older female manager was very inattentive toward her staff.
ORIGINAL: Food is always fresh and made to order. The manager at this location is actively on the floor helping his staff and making sure everyone is taken care of. Morgan at the carry out window was so sweet when I placed an order to go. Highly recommend this Texas Roadhouse location. Try going on a weekday if possible since theyâre extremely packed on weekends.

First time diner and won't be the last. A very busy location, but the greeters move diners very efficiently. Had an awesome server named Ary. Although busy, she did not miss a beat at attending to me and my son. She is so caring, helpful with the menu, and personable. We would look to her again. A thank you to the young man who ensured my tea and flowers were safe while I used the bathroom. The staff is just nice. A definite return.

The service experience was decent, food quality was good. My children were anticipating the line dancing but never saw that? Maybe they don't do it at this location. We normally go to lecanto but halle to be over that way yesterday.
