We went here because I was told they have the best fish sandwiches. I'm not a big fish fan but the wife is.The place is the prime example of a greasy spoon but with out door seating only. Order at the window, pick up at other window and have a seat on picnic bench. Not a problem.I Order the double bacon burger with fried mushrooms and she the aforementioned fish sandwich and fries. She ate the fries and a third of the fish sandwich and then chucked it. Too dry and too fishy was the verdict. My double bacon burger had no bacon. The patties were cooked appropriately but they should rename it to the Soggy Bottom boy. From the window to the picnic table twenty feet away, the bottom bun was mush. I can only imagine the state if I drove home before eating. The sweet tea my wife said wast perfect. Of course, she's from Covington Kentucky so only a mile removed from being a Yankee. My southern palate asked if Bidenomics has created a sugar shortage.Oh, the mushrooms were standard Sysco variety.

The best fish sandwich and fried shrimp around at this unassuming little local hot spot. I had the fried shrimp and fish dinner with cole slaw and fries. Tasty!
