Great boat launch into Florida back country
A great place to enjoy nature.
We love camping there!! We are excited to see they are rebuilding the restaurant 😀 and bought more land for primitive camping.
This is a great campground for literally getting away from it and all. Cell service and Internet are spotty, but the sites are nice and everyone is very friendly. There is a boat ramp and all the sites are on the water. It's out in the middle of nowhere, so bring everything you need. The only thing we didn't care for were the number of feral cats around.
Supposed fish camp at one of Florida's best fishing lakes. The county has changed it to an RV resort. If you camp in a tent, even if you paid for the campsite, they will tell you to leave. If you take a shower there, wear a jacket, lol. Water is warm at best. Word is the money they make at the lake for camping, goes to the beaches instead of the actual campground.
Bull Creek Campground – Peaceful, Scenic, and Great for Fishing (9/10)
Bull Creek Campground is a quiet, small, and nature-filled retreat—perfect for those who love peaceful surroundings with beautiful views of trees, water, and wildlife. The boat ramp is quite busy, but if you enjoy watching boats, it's a great spot to see them cruising down the water. It’s also an excellent place for fishing, with plenty of opportunities to reel in a good catch.
The sunsets here are absolutely stunning, and the campground itself is very quiet and well-maintained. The public showers and restrooms are clean, and the level concrete pads with full hookups make for a comfortable stay. Despite being in a more remote area, cell signal is strong, which is a plus for staying connected.
While the campground is a bit of a drive from restaurants and stores (about 30 minutes to Flagler Beach or Palm Springs), it’s well worth it for the peaceful atmosphere. Everything is self-serve, but it’s managed well, making it a great hidden gem for those looking to relax in nature.
Highly recommend for anyone looking for a quiet, scenic getaway! If you want to see more from our travels, check us out on TikTok/Instagram (@alaynamscwain) where we share our journey and great campgrounds like this one.
9/10 – A peaceful retreat for nature lovers!
Bathrooms are terribly dirty. They clean them regularly, but within a few hours, they are dirty again. Otherwise, a perfect place to get away from it all.

Restaurantji Recommends
Small campground area around a boat launch ramp with good facilities.
Has a boat launch, restrooms, and camping area. They need to put a good restaurant back where the old one was.
Restrooms: Restrooms have showers available. Clean for a camping restroom. The handicap shower has a bench, but it is falling off the wall and needs repair. Other than that, it's a decent restroom for a rural area.
Dog-friendliness: You can walk your dogs here, although I wouldn't advise letting them off leash or in the water, gators are around.
Picnic area: Basis picnic tables
Love this little fishing campground!!
Restrooms: Little muddy at times. But cleaned everday
No building anymore it flooded and it got removed now campsites and boatlaunch with public restrooms
Cleaned up real nice. Bathrooms & showers newly remodeled and clean. Boat ramp and dock very well done.
