Don't bother. I am a born and raised Italian. I know good Italian food and this was not it. This place is super expensive. You get paper napkins and paper tablecloth. Smh. We had the gnocchi appetizer. It had a blue cheese and blueberry sauce. The gnocchitini were tasteless as was the sauce, which is strange bc blue cheese and blueberries are 2 very strong flavors. The gnocchitni were small and hard. Then we opted for the Cesar salad for 2 at the table. Had no clue it was $15pp. The dressing was so vinegary that's all you tasted. Each salad was served on a small dessert plate. Not worth the $15pp. For dinner we ordered the Jumbo shrimp RAVIOLI, the evening special of steak prepared at your table and a Veal cutlet dish. The ravioli did not have shrimp in them at all. Only shrimp were 2 of them on top as "decoration". The sauce had so much oregano it made it hard to get past 1 or 2. The veal dish was tasteless as well and the pasta that came with it was watery and no flavor. Don't get me started on the "sirloin" or "ribeye" special. They prepared it at our table, the steaks were about 1/4 inch thick or less. They were not quality steaks. They looked like cheap Walmart steaks. They were overcooked almost immediately and gray. It was so chewy, we could not finish it. So sad and so expensive. For dessert we ordered the Limoncello cake. Yet another disappointment. No lemon flavor at all. Cake part was very dry.
Either they step up their cooking Game or drastically lower their prices. Carrabbas has better "italian" food honestly, at a fraction of the price. As a local, I will never go back or bring any visiting friends and family.

We just left there. Party of 6.
All of us agree that this family run restaurant is like no other in Florida.
Pasta appetizer and table side fresh ceasar salad were the beginning of a great night
All main plates (pasta, fish, risotto) as well as dessert proved to make this a must visit for anyone in the area.

Authentic Italian cuisine. Perfect portions. Service is second to none. Wish we could give it more than 5 stars.

This place is legit Italian cusine. Took my mother for her birthday and had a great appetizer, main, and dessert as did my mother. The chef comes out to check how he did and also delivered the desserts with 1 candle for mom. (With help from wait staff) apps they prepare table side which is a beautiful touch. Hands down and great experience you won't be disappointed! Need to make a reservation.

It's so easy to see why this restaurant is rated SO highly. The food? Incredible. Prices and quantity too. But the owner/chef and wait staff are also wonderful! Beautiful little gem to take a special date too or a small family get together. Highly recommend and will be back asap!

Vegetarian options: Chef is very open to making vegetarian options! Tried the risotto with artichoke and peppers and it was amazing.

Entree was very good, appetizer was very underwhelming, owner made a great atmosphere, service was below expectations, from forgetting to take our order to a handful of small things, just not very attentive and didn't match our expectations. The service needs to match the level of white table cloths and $24 appetizers.

Truly a HIDDEN Gem. If you drove by it, you'd probably miss it, If you saw it you'd dismiss it. Small restaurant at one end of a small strip mall, so Reservations are a must. We were visiting Flagler, and my wife wanted something other the beach fare to celebrate our 50th anniversary on 8/10/24. Called for reservations (a Saturday) and were told they were full. Owner later called back to say they could squeeze us in at 8. Again, very small restaurant, cozy family feel; small friendly staff, almost all of which visited our table at one point or another. Owner/Chef came by about 4 times to check on us, even bussed some dishes at one point. First visit was to ask about any possible for allergies and was happy to know he could season at will. Oh, Yes, the food: OMG!!! Everything fresh, made in house, and cooked to order, with several dishes prepared tableside. The flavor was fantastic! I had the Pappardella Diavolina fra Diavlo (Spicy) and it out of this world. I'm not much for fish, but my wife's was very flavorful, melted in your mouth, and I wouldn't hesitate to order it. Price is a step up from your normal everyday Italian restaurant, but it is more than worth it, and you will not be disappointed. If I lived a little closer (5 hr. away) I would consider a day trip. As it is, I am counting the days until I am in Flagler again. To the Chef, "WELL DONE", and Thanks so much for squeezing us in!"

The name doesn't begin to do this restaurant / trattoria justice. Osterias are historically wine bars that have evolved to serve simple meals.

There is nothing simple about the food or it's elaborate presentation. All excellent.

The Chef is highly personable and interacts throughout your meal with you. To me, he was the Italian version of Ratatouille. Warm, inviting and serving great food.

They do not serve hard liquor, only wine, and dinner is by reservation only.

Bon appetit!

The pistachio trout was amazing! Coupled with the brandy cream sauce over a bed of pasta and the perfectly prepared zucchini with onion. Delicious. One of the best meals I've ever had. A wonderful blend of flavors. Topped it off with the Venetian pastry. Superb dining experience. The owner, waiter, and staff are attentive and accommodating. Great evening. Highly recommend.

First like to say thank you to Dillon our server that expressed great attention to detail and oriented us throughout every thing. Not just the food expressed love in each plate of perfection. The moment i started to eat my salad I had to take my phone out and schedule my next visit. True hidden Gem located in our back door. From begining to end truly best experience. Looking forward on repeating our experiences. Grazie mille Osteria Rustica
