Fun place to stop and have a cold one with the boys

Mind you this when it was The Beer Haus. Met my lovely Dina A. as she was working the bar one Thursday afternoon in 2014. That Thursday night, I decided to walk in on her and had a few beers with her, had amazing conversations, and helped her close up the place since it was a slow night. One of the best decisions I've ever made in my life was the 5 years we spent together after and really enjoyed one another.

Visiting from Maine & judging from reviews, thought this might be a fun little dive bar to visit. Knew the moment we walked in that we might have made a mistake but decided to go with it. You never know. It’s small, dark, has a pool table. Looks like mainly a group of local regulars, that’s not a bad thing. No music playing, just friendly banter among the few patrons. We sat at the bar. I ordered Gin on the rocks with a Lime, hubby ordered a beer. My drink was served in a plastic cup & the drink tasted like onions (I’m guessing the same knife that cut my Lime Wedge had also been used to cut onions). Service was okay, no complaints. Yup. The drinks were cheap but who cares? We won’t be back.
Their food is always fresh. Prices are good. Always feel at home there.

So, potential new customers visited Rehab last night. Owner/bartender didn't really give us a fuzzy feeling all night from the beginning but we went with it. When we went to leave, she called us out verbally and loud so everyone in the bar could hear it about the tip. Very unprofessional and an unpleasant experience to say the least. We are far from cheap and really wanted our experience to be better so we could support a local bar. The owner may not care about this review, but when one person tells another person....ya know......it was a really uncomfortable situation and we will never return. Unfortunate because we've been stopping there Friday evenings to shoot pool for the past few weeks. No more, not after the way we were treated.....there are bars across the street, up the street, around the corner.......who will treat us with respect and SMILE.
