Visited for the first time this evening and overall the food and service was decent/average. We were informed they were out of both tomahawk steaks and sirloins, and there were just 4 ribeyes left to be served at 6:30pm. This personally didn’t affect my order but they shouldn’t be running out of these, especially early in the evening on a Saturday. I had the mac and cheese which was good, girlfriend had chicken bacon wrap which was dry and flavorless. Mozzarella sticks and pretzel bite appetizers were good, albeit expensive for what they are (just like at other places, not just this restaurant). Our party did the axe throwing and once given the checks I saw that not only were we charged a 20% large party automatic gratuity, but the 20% was also charged on the cost of the axe throwing which is absolutely ridiculous. To make it even better when paying the bill of $87.13, I gave the waitress $100 and requested the change, receiving $12 back, short $0.87. I am one to always tip at least 20% as long as the service was decent, but being forced to tip a certain amount, and then being shorted the $0.87 of my change which went straight to the servers pocket pisses me off. Giving the rating overall of 3 stars because the food and restaurant overall was decent, but their tipping/billing procedure and the waitress shorting the change has solidified I won’t be going back.

Ordered a pepperoni pizza not only did I wait 20min to order, I was I overcharged and the pizza was raw. The bartender was horrible, she obviously does not know what multitasking means..10 people in the entire tavern...waited for my pizza for close to an hour. I see why no one comes here..They really need new managment that knows how to run things.

Easy to miss but try not to! The atmosphere is bright and roomy with great food and great service/staff. It looks like they just renovated the bar/restaurant area is clean and well kept as well as the restrooms. The axe throwing area is separate from the main venue and includes computer controlled scoring and projector targets on the wall which makes it easy to score and see the targets! Overall a great place and I plan to visit often!

Tomahawk steak is the best! Good service and delicious meals! We will be back. Live the ambience....they have pool tables, and live band at night outside the restaurant.
A bit off the beaten path, but very nice! Staffed very well and plenty of room. Pool tables, Bar, fireplace, outside Bar w/stage for a band, Axe throwing lanes, etc. A meal for 2 was $42, they they do have $60 steaks if that's what you desire. The Manager Kendra was awesome as

Went there with group of eight. After getting drinks and ordering our food the owner came over and accused us of being homophobic. We all looked at him question that statement. We guess our waitress overheard us joking about Bud Lite, so she wouldn’t serve us. We should have left. Food came out over cooked for everyone’s meal. Will never be going back there.

You all are missing out if you haven't visited tomahawk tavern. The calm country demeanor is everything you expect it to be to get some r&r. Dave, the owner is unbelievable with hospitality and makes you feel welcome and explains to you. Everything there is to know about the whole tomahawk legend. Fun times on Friday nights with live bands and locals. And now they're open Monday nights. Come check them out. We absolutely love this place and will be returning weekly.

We booked a table for a party of 28 so that we could attend The Soulhh th ire Band. The reservation process was seamless and we were greeted immediately when we came in and the table was ready up until this point things were going great. I arrived early as I booked the group and our table was seated first and people started to trickle in. We ordered drinks which took a very long time to arrive, but we were patient because we were a large group. We proceeded to order our meal and that’s when the problems began. Let’s call us table 1 is 14 of us at the table 7 people got their food at 45 minutes to an hour later three more got their food, my simple burger as my friends, simple burger never came out. The waitress kept apologizing, but food still didn’t come out so I spoke to the manager at the bar who is not only uncaring, but even with getting him involved, the food never came out !I cannot rate the food as I never received any. Tables kept coming in and Burgos kept going by and three people at our table still didn’t have their dinner. My other neighbors pizza was ruined in the kitchen and had to be re-cooked which took over an hour and 20 minutes. Horrible service at the venue was much better when the bands were inside.

We came we enjoyed but alas I couldn’t conquer the axe throwing…lol. It was my in-laws 61st anniversary and my father in law is a big “steak guy”. so Tomahawk Tavern was the perfect venue to celebrate. Off the beaten path on US 1 in Bunnell, this is a country bar and restaurant. A barn like dining room with a bar the length of the building along with a 2 piece band, the place has a noisy rustic feel. U come to eat drink enjoy and we did. Our server,Josh was a bundle of energy as he patiently answered questions and hustled the room. Apparently new management is still working on operations both on the floor and in the kitchen. They’re short floor staff so tables were slow to be bussed and my father in laws’ steak came with the appetizers (never a good thing). I’ve worked in this business for over 23 years so I see what some don’t. The wings were very good and the mozzarella sticks were as well( but not homemade). The ladies had burgers which were very good and quite a mouthful. I ordered the ribeye steak sandwich, on Josh’s recommendation but got the filet tips instead without explanation, also a no no in the business. We will return and will conquer the axe throwing once my sore shoulder recovers….lol….Steve
The truth… looks not so good on the outside, it’s a little rough “entrance “, but the ambiance and the service and the food and games such as axe throwing , make this restaurant a must go, this Restaurant is a perfect example of why we shouldn’t judge a book by its cover, the entrance and the parking lot looks like the restaurant is about to go out of business, but the service and the food belongs to a restaurant that charges you $50 just for parking. The images included are Blue Burger, Steak Tips on top of Cheese Fries with a secret sauce, South West Eggrolls and Jalapeño Poppers. Between the music, the entertainment games, the service and the variety of dishes you can’t decide. If the outside is fixed to look better, probably you will need to call ahead of time 6 months to make a reservation. Out of place restaurant, this restaurant belongs or should be at any theme parks. Keep it up. And thank you Alexa for such great service and food suggestions.

Visiting family, and we stopped in for dinner. The food was excellent, and Alex, our server, was great. Decided to do the Axe throwing, and we had a blast. This is a must do for a great evening
Wheelchair accessibility: My son is in a wheelchair and he had no problems getting around. He was able to axe throw as well

Absolutely loved it! The owner especially was so nice and attentive! The bartender seemed to have been bartending and serving us , so she wasn't very approachable and did forget numerous times on what things that were asked for but it was understandable as she was busy, and thankfully we had the owner checking in often. The food was amazing! Music was good, and drinks were great! The moonshine slushie was 10/10. Scallop and shrimp Alfredo was phenomenal! Definitely will be back ?

What a great experience!!! My boyfriend and best friend threw me a surprise birthday party here. They were very accommodating and attentive to our needs. Kendra was our server and Joseph as our primary bartender, but the entire staff was on-point from the moment guests walked in. The food was delicious and drinks made to perfection! All of our guests were impressed and will be returning. Thank you to everyone for making this the best birthday ever! We now found our new hang out and go back frequently. Every time, every visit, it is consistently amazing!
