Dietary restrictions: My sweet elderly mother is on a strict gluten free diet but that wasn’t a problem here. She enjoyed a chicken salad lunch special and potato salad as a side. I highly recommend a coffee while you gaze at the vast collection of coffee cups hanging on the wall. It’s a caffeinated vibe check! I really really enjoyed the grilled cheese cheese burger. It was excellent. So much so that I was still thinking about it the next day. Lol. Bushnell isn’t close to me but that meal was totally worth the drive. The ladies working here are so very sweet and polite. The food came out fast. The place stays busy, so you know it’s a local hot spot. The menu has so many choices and the place is woman owned and operated. So forget those ridiculous greedy chain restaurants and support some local business ladies y’all. Plus you can’t beat the food and the service. I am hooked.
Parking: This cafe is part of a shopping strip, so it’s whatever space is available. Potholes and weather worn character. Quaint town, country vibes. Leave your big city expectations at home this place is in the tiny town of Bushnell but the cafe atmosphere is very friendly. Outside watch out for big trucks and country boys, inside just enjoy the warm charm and friendly service.
What a gem! We found this place not far from home. It's a small hometown cafe with great service and fantastic food! We tried the Country Fried Steak and Hot Honey Chicken Sandwich (Asain hot honey). The prices are very fair. We will be back.
