The customer service was very nice. It was the first time I had been there and I was having a mother/son day. The food is cook to order, but still fast and tastes delicious. My son's particular favorite was the onion rings and I have to agree with him.

Very casual down home real country fried chicken. This is the stuff you're grandmother bragged about. Indoor Picnic table seating. Wheelchair accessible. It will take a minute for your food to cook... Maybe leave the phones in the car???

We highly recommend Callahan Barbecue. Our Food Truck backed out at last minute and Callahan Barbecue saved the day. They had all we needed to feed over 50 people at last minute. We greatly appreciate them working with us at such short notice. Their food was so delicious and everyone raved about their food. Thanks again for saving the day!
We hit the jackpot when we stopped here for lunch. Situated in a strip plaza next to the DMV. They have both Bar-b-Que and fried chicken. Their sides are abundant including mashed potatoes, green beans, fries, onion rings, etc.... You order at the counter or hit the drive thru. We both had the fried chicken sandwhich with onion rings. The sandwhich is large with a huge breast. Served with mayo, lettuce and tomato. The onion rings cooked expertly, not to mention its enough for two. Now the chicken sandwiches were to die for!!😋 Cooked to perfection, hot and juicy. We got ours with just bread and mayo. As I write this my mouth is watering. Hands down they would put Chick-fil-A out of business. It is family style seating so you might find yourself eating with the locals sharing a large table. If ever in the sleepy town of Callahan, stop by and get ready for meal fit for royalty!!

We’ve been here twice. First time bought the BBQ dinner. It was okay. Today I ordered 2 snack meals with mash potatoes and gravy. She charged and I got 2 dinners. Since I don’t know the prices a menu well I realized I was charged for more expensive meals. Potatoes just okay. I compare it to box potatoes. Chicken breast were extremely dry and only hot lamp warm. With the volume of people in there you would have thought the chicken would have been hot. We were there at noon. We don’t understand the draw to this place. Mediocre food at best.
