It was OK. Average food, the servers were polite but got some of the sides wrong. It was a basic atmosphere. The floors were sticky, but the tables were clean.

We didn't order. We'd worked a hard day's job outside a d were ready for a meal and a beer with it. We've always loved Cedar. h

Worst visit to any restaurant I’ve ever had. I spent $117 on me and my daughter to have dinner worst experience ever. I think they got the steak out of a box. The shrimp came out of something other than a box went to Texas roadhouse following night spent half the money Best food ever.

For starters...the sign says Cedar River Seafood and Oyster Bar. They do not serve raw oysters. The stuffed snapper was either freezer burnt or extremely overcooked. I've never had fish that firm before and at $30+ per person I'll pass next time.

They ruined my expectations about shrimp and grits! These are unbelievable! Grouper? Excellent. Slaw and fries also excellent. Service. Julia. Also excellent. Take the trip off of 95 and eat here. It's worth the drive!

Good old fashioned seafood restaurants where the majority of the food is fried and tastes delicious.

Daily lunch and dinner specials.

Good prices and decent sized portions. Service is good.

Restaurant is a bit worn and could really use a refresh, but the food was really good. Several of us eating together. Couple of us got the lunch special of flounder and shrimp with hush puppies and two sides. Coleslaw and french fries were good. Fish and shrimp were tasty. Other companion got the salmon which she enjoyed with a variety of southern veggies which she enjoyed.

Even at 2:30 for a late lunch the place was still a bit busy with a couple groups.

Definitely worth a try, just remember, it ain’t fancy.

Parking: 20 or so parking spots. Paved lot.

Went there with the crew during the hurricane, and the waitresses were very helpful and friendly. the food was amazing. The only problem I had here was no room for dessert.
