Junior's Seafood Restaurant & Grill

Ok the actual flavor of food is good! Please don't get me wrong on that. BamBam shrimp salad was real good! I had the grilled Mahi tacos. Taste great but they were smaller and different ingredients than the ones I had 2 months ago. My Husband had the blackened pick 3. $75 BILL. OK we are use to that cost . BUT shrinkflation has hit jrs seafood in callahan. Our meals were a quarter of the size they have always been. Just disappointed on the volume of food and rise of cost. Manager runs the restaurant good, understand also a hard time getting these younger adults to actually work. If its just a hiccup in the road we understand. But this shrinkflation of food and rise of cost don't do well in smaller towns. Flavor of food is really good though.

By far one of my new favorite restaurants in Callahan. Lucky for me it is right outside my neighborhood. The staff is extremely friendly and the food is awesome. My favorite was the stewed zucchini. They do not skimp on shrimp! 22 pcs on the dinner platter. 😍Love this restaurant.

Skip it!!! Food is subpar at best... Fried shrimp were overcooked, fried okra may have been what was left over! But customer service was terrible, brought out a child's pasta that we asked to add shrimp to, paid for it... Waiter comes out with food, that was pretty fast... But no shrimp on the pasta... Sent it back, not long after he brings it back, the cook said this meal doesn't come with shrimp... Yea that's why we asked for it to be added and paid for it... Waiter is adamant that we didn't pay for it... Ticket says I did buddy!!! Go get a manager, I hear them arguing about it, they shouldn't have added... Not my problem, I asked, you obliged, I paid for said shrimp!!! I want my shrimp!!! After sending a very polite young lady, not the manager, we got some shrimp to go with the pasta... Btw the pasta wasn't even warm when it was brought. Don't waste your money, time or patience here.

Dining feels comfortable, flavorful, and welcoming

We have eaten here for years and every part of the experience has genuinely gotten better with each visit (which has increased to, at least, once a week). there is literally not enough room to paint the full story of this incredible place and its amazing staff! The moment we walk in the door, the staff is perfectly friendly and hospitable, starting a truly wonderful experience! Jossie knows my order by heart and that alone makes me feel like I am important to her! To top that off, she does all that she can to accommodate my particular requests ... even when they are not specifically on the menu the way I order. My diet has very tough restrictions and she always finds a way to deliver what I want. Truthfully, her familial-level attitude, personality, and customer service is the quintessential "cherry-on-top!" The food has been perfect for my strict eating habits! Even though Juniors foundation is seafood, my go-to has become the ribeye. If I had to use only one word to label the ribeye to try to sufficiently describe it, deciding between WOW and PERFECT!! Isaiah has managed to make my perfect steak better each time he has cooked it! He has ruined steak-specific restaurants for me because they legitimately cannot touch what he produces. To sort of "book-end" the incredible experience at Junior's is the friendly, comfortable conversation and interaction that we always have with Sierra. These moments are genuine and perfectly timed. God always presents the interactions when they are needed most; after a tough day and/or near the end of a trying week. It is so hard to wrap-up this sharing of how positive the Junior's experience truly is, and has gotten better with each visit. It is also difficult to not identify every single individual that works here because everyone is special and provides outstanding, friendly service. Overall, Junior's makes each visit seem like a family gathering ... the amazing food is a perfect bonus! It is extremely rare for a restaurant to make every part of the experience equally perfect!

Enjoyed it! Even though it's a place order style, they still tend to your table. So be sure to tip an employee who assists you.
Hubby got a shrimp meal, and I got the salad with shrimp and crab! We both enjoyed a few beers and brought home half our entreés .

Yes there are other options for seafood. However, in Callahan there is only one option for us. We love it here!

Excellent. Shrimp and mahi tacos were great. Best alligator I've had, perfect breading and tender. Staff very nice and clean establishment. Definitely will go again when in town.

Good seafood at good prices. Nice small town vibe, not too busy, very short wait for food. We left so full I could barely stay awake on the ride back to the hotel.

Food poisoned after eating here had the ocean pasta. It's been coming out of both end since. Why was bmacs closed today. Currently sitting on the toilet writing this at 1:55 a.m. 🤢
