If I could give no stars I would, I walked in not one person said hello, they simply looked at me and asked what I was there for. Uhmmm I’m a paying customer… then I waited for over 20 minutes while it seemed every employee was working on one door dash order. Absolutely ridiculous. Worst customer service I have ever received. Also paid for Apple pies, wait for 20 minutes for my food and still was asked if I want to wait for my Apple pies….

I think it was the dark skin manager with a lot of makeup who was yelling loudly and disrespecting the customers who were eating lunch. Unfortunately, I was there last Saturday around 12 noon and I will not come back to this restaurant because I noticed that the manager does not care about anyone and she is not a smart person to respect the customers because she thinks she owns this restaurant.

In general, I'm just disappointed with Popeyes. When I was a kid, the chicken was bigger, and the portions were bigger. It was more of a family meal place to go. Twenty plus years ago, they started buying smaller pieces of chicken. Now, shrinkflation has hit all of the sides as well. The flavor is still good, which is what keeps me coming back. The servers are so friendly, but they are awfully slow. And there is no option for ordering online or calling in an order. I wish they would step up their game a little bit. I really do love the flavors they serve.

I'm giving this place a 1 star and I wish I could give it ZERO stars. And this is simply because of the POOR ownership group Sailor that runs most of not all of the local Popeyes. This place is in the best place and yet can't attract and keep employees or customers. The Zaxby's right next door is packed every day all day. This place looks like a graveyard. There was just the manager and a cook working in there. Just like most Popeyes around Jax, the front door is locked because of a lack of staff. But I give the employees that were there 10 stars for putting up with this crappy owner and still providing good food and a smile. Sailors needs to be forced by RBI to sell all of their franchises! I should make it my mission.

For the price, the food is very poor. Chicken tenders are a joke. Little slivers of chicken meat for over $13 ? No. Hell no,.....never again. Kitchen crew more interested in yelling at each other than working. Food W-A-Y overpriced. Poor quality. Biscuit tasted like old rancid grease. Beware. You have been warned. This place is a poor excuse for a restaurant.
A really nice, clean, and friendly atmosphere. The food was surprisingly hot and fresh ,which is unusual for a Popeyes. Customer service was also above what I'm accustomed to.
