The cashier ahnestee was the worst cashier I've had the displeasure of meeting. She had a nasty attitude, was mumbling under her breath, rolling her eyes, being aggressively short to multiple customers not just us, and extremely unhelpful when asked a single question about one of the ice creams. The facility was hazardous she had the whole floor covered in soap and water instead of mopping in sections like a sane person, making it risky to get to the checkout, food pick up, and sitting areas. Particularly frustrating since one in our party uses a cane. She sneered when people slipped walking up to order and mumbled something but i didnt catch what it was though. But holy crap her attitude about having to work and not being able to close up over an hour early was ridiculous. This was one of the most unpleasant experiences I've had at a restaurant in a long time. I thought of dairy queen as the option to meet up with family and get a treat together, after that there will not be a next time. I dont go to resturants for the atmosphere, i go for food but to be met with straight up hostility from this lady was another thing. please check the cameras.

Hot dog bun Hard, can't chew it. Hot dog hard too.
Hot fudge sundae: they only put hot fudge on top, none on bottom.
Workers act like they don't know what they are doing.

Bathrooms were gross appeared to be poop on the wall and just not a clean restroom. Food was hot and fresh which was good. And their honey mustard is really good, it has like a horseradish after taste and I would literally just go buy the honey mustard in a jar. Toast had no butter on it though
4 piece chicken with fries and toast is $8.88 with tax.

Workers have an attitude problem, slow service

There's a 75/25 chance this location does not have chocolate ice cream available when you go. One time their machine was broken for over a month. You'd think for being a fast food chain called DAIRY queen they'd prioritize having working ice cream machines but I guess not. I've never had this issue at the lynn haven or panama city beach locations.

To whoever owns this business. I placed a take out order Your employees saw fit on 10/5/2025 at 9pm to grossly overfill my blizzard. They then placed a Sunday lid on it. The result was a blizzard that was impossible to eat without dumping my ice cream everywhere. They also forgot the Dilly bar I ordered for my daughter, and put an entire shakers worth of salt on the French fries I ordered for her as well. My counter is a mess right now and my daughter is crying. I sincerely hope whichever employee made my meal feels good about themselves. If they do not like their job they should quit. Disgusting.

Our experience with Starlena was one of the worst experiences we’ve ever had. We ended up going to the manager who made it right but customers should not be spoken to or treated the way we were. Even though the manager remade our ice cream two of them were made incorrectly. We will not be back.

Sat in line behind 1 car for over 10 minutes to order.Now sitting and waiting in a parking spot another 10 minute...only ordered 1 blizzard. Ridiculous..

Never had a bad sundae from DQ except at this one. Ice cream had a weird aftertaste like some kind of cleaning product possibly. Had to throw it out.
