This place was recommended to us by a dock hand at a local marina several years ago. This our third year and it has never disappointed. The baked oysters came in several different preparations and all of them are delicious. The oysters are huge and very flavorful. Our favorite is the baked 3 Cheese variety. If possible, sit at the bar and watch them shucking the oysters. Very entertaining. We come for a week every year and eat here at least twice.

I eat at Hunt's every time I'm in PCB and the seafood never disappoints. However, I wish the sides were a little better. I love coleslaw with my fish but their coleslaw is not really all that great. There was a lot of construction going on during this visit - I'm not sure how I feel about it but I am excited to see what the end result is.

Just your typical neighborhood bar & grill. Shuck oysters right in front of you. Good music, great food. Reasonable prices. Will go again!!

Fried Green Tomatoes, Oysters Rockefeller and Buffalo Shrimp...absolutely delicious! Even the Key Lime Pie was to die for! I highly recommend eating here then strolling around the bay, visiting some of the area stores, and watching the sunset while the dolphins play!

Excellent food & service. Ordered the steamed oysters, fried catfish, cheese grits and fried okra and all of it was very good. Service was fast even though they were very busy. Definitely recommend if you like seafood!

Fantastic in every way! The live music outside as we waited to the absolutely lively atmosphere inside. Nothing fancy, pretty crowded, a little loud & amazing food. Definitely GO for the oysters! They are so fresh and good! The snapper and grilled shrimp we had was simple but amazing! If you like grits the cheese grits were perfect. Well priced for great, fresh seafood!

This is the best place for oysters by far! Don’t worry about the staff sometimes they suck but the food is by far always on point. I always sit at the bar, the shuckers sometimes suck with their attitudes and attention to customers. Sometimes they talk loud enough for customers to listen to their bs. But it doesn’t keep me from coming back. I recommend to anyone. Long time customer since 2001.

This is a great little joint that has been in business since the sixties Great food and fun atmosphere. It's under construction but not a problem.

Good oysters. Had a dozen raw and a dozen fried. Good service. Great Oyster Bar atmosphere. They offer "house" oysters and "premium". Ask for the Apalachicola Bay oysters. The best.

So I called ahead of time to see if there was anything that I could eat because of my multiple food allergies. I was told that I could bring my own butter and cooking oil and that they would use them to prepare my food instead of what they usually use. Sounds good, right? I don’t know how much the problem was with the owner and how much was that the waitress was new and didn’t know much. I explained upfront that I have many food allergies and that I was not just being fussy. She made five trips back to the kitchen to check on ingredients for me. There was nothing that I could safely eat and they would not use the oil or butter that I brought. Their story was that it was illegal to use any items that clients bring in, although many restaurants in other parts of Florida gladly use ingredients that I bring in. Finally I asked if they could cook me some boiled shrimp in plain water without any spices. That doesn’t seem to be too difficult to do, right? The waitress said, “ I don’t know if they can do that or not.” I said, “If they can’t, we’re leaving because there’s nothing else that I can eat here.” The manager came out and said that they were washing out a kettle as we were speaking to boil some plain shrimp for me. I said, “Thank u.” There were a good many shrimp, but they were tasteless and slightly soggy. I only ate a few and took the rest back to the little apartment that we were renting for two weeks. I used them to make shrimp scampi the next night.

We were in town for an evening and were recommended to stop in here for dinner by an employee at a local brewery down the road. There was a bit of a wait but the weather was perfect and they sell Mango Cart beer so we made the best of it. The food was really good and we enjoyed the lively atmosphere. We will definitely stop back in the next time we're through the PCB area.

We went to Hunt's last night for supper around 5pm. I have gone several times for lunch with guests from out of state, in the past. I ordered the fried shrimp and the person with me had the grouper cheeks. The food arrived very quickly...just a few minutes after ordering it. It was not hot...just warm. I called today and spoke to the manager to see if they prepared food in advance before the supper rush, due to the poor quality of the food last night. She asked if I had complained to a waitress or manager last night. When I said, no, she indicated that she couldn't help me. I was not trying to get a free dinner or replacement meal, I was trying to figure out why the quality was so different in the evening than food served during the day. I was planning on taking a large group that is coming down for Spring break soon. I will now be taking them elsewhere.
