I finally found a local family restaurant that offers authentic Filipino dishes that I miss and crave. I will drive from Melbourne to pick up tasty some Pancit from time to time. For me, it's worth the drive from Melbourne to fulfill my Pancit craving. I'm looking forward to trying some of their other dishes as well. When in the area, it's a definite stop. I wish they would open a location closer.

By a show of hands, how many of you have had Filipino food before? Anyone, anyone? Yeah, me either, but you can now try it at Barkada Bowl in Cape Canaveral. Tucked away in a teeny tiny spot lays one of the most original experiences you can have in Brevard County.
Trying new cuisine can be intimidating, especially if the owner or employees do not speak English. As I walked in I noticed an older Asian lady and a younger Asian gentleman....
Worth the trip. Tried all the entrees. The Adobo bowl was flavorful and huge. The bao buns are unbelievably good. Go on Thursdays and you get 4. Beef calderetta has a rich tomato sauce base that is full of flavor. Reasonable prices. Across the street east side of Cumberland gas station.
