Joanne’s Beachside Cafe

We came here on a whim before our cruise out of Port Canaveral to grab some quick breakfast and it did not disappoint! It was so great in fact that once we arrived back to port after 8 days at sea, this was our first stop again! Thank you, Joanne!

I ordered Loaded Tots, after I asked what comes on them (cheese, scallions, bacon bits, and sour cream, is what I was told). $8.99 was the price in the menu. When I received the bill, there was a charge for $2.99, so I asked what that charge was for. I was told "For the sour cream and bacon bits" Basically, I paid almost $13.00. IMO, the menu should state the actual charge, for what they tell you comes on them.

Excellent service from the owner , her daughter and all of the staff! They made us feel like we were in their home!even the chef! They even entertained my kids so I could eat my breakfast. The food was delicious! We had biscuits and gravy- it was perfect & the pancakes were incredible! Highly recommend this great food and atmosphere .

Mediocre breakfast. If you’re going to use canned mushrooms in your omelet then the mushrooms should be reheated in a pan prior to serving. Slow service- 45 mins from arrival to food on table. Server never came by during that time.

Owner and staff personal, professional and friendly. Food was/is always good. However, sometimes the grits/fries were over salted. But perhaps I should have mentioned "please. no salt"! I have visited several times with friends and plan to come again. Nice atmosphere!

My father and I decided to try Joanne's because he was looking for a good prime rib for his 80th birthday.

The staff made us feel at home immediately, and you could tell it was a down-home type of place. I'd like to especially mention that I believe nearly every member of the staff came out to wish my father a happy birthday, including some of the cooking staff. This display of exceptional is deserving of mention.

We shared a basket of fried okra to start, which was excellent and fried perfectly.

My father of course had the prime rib, which was a thick cut of meat for the price point. He got fried onions as his side.

I had a brisket sandwich, which was very flavorful. I used the spicy BBQ sauce that was on offer, which added just the right amount of zing. The prize I had as a side were seasoned well.

Without prompting, the owner of the establishment brought out a warm brownie, and sing Happy Birthday for my father.

Needless to say, I am highly recommending this establishment. We will be back.
