We visit the Cape Canaveral area once a year and Sage Bistro is a must. The food is excellent and the staff is always so warm and welcoming. If you are visiting in the area or live here, be sure to add this to your favorite restaurant list!

Sage Bistro was amazing. They were able to accommodate our party of 17 people and treated us like family. The staff was outstanding. Everyone enjoyed their meals and drinks. We highly recommend this restaurant.

The food was outstanding. This was my second visit. Everyone at my table loved their choices. Our waitress was super friendly and accommodating. We made reservations for a Tuesday night at 6 o'clock when we left, the place was about 80% full. I would highly recommend reservations.

The crabcakes are one of the best features on their menu. They are 98% crab meat and very good quality. Another great feature on their menu is the lobster roll. This restaurant is a hidden gem for the Cocoa Beach area.

The Sage Bistro is The Culinary Gem of the Cape. The entire experience was an absolute delight. The staff, from the owners to the bartender, welcome with a warm smile and make you feel right at home. The drink and food recommendations were spot on. The crab cakes were the best I ever had!! The food quality at Sage Bistro is exceptional. I so enjoyed the charm and culture of this easily overlooked restaurant. Did I mention the amazing crab cakes!?!

It was absolutely fabulous! I have traveled all over the country and in other parts of the world. Anytime I see crab cakes on the menu I try them. I have never had crab cakes as good as I had here at Sage Bistro. They were amazing and there was more crab than there was breading. My husband had the pork chop and he said it was the best pork chop he had ever had. It was tasty and moist and delicious. My friend had the chorizo mahi and said it was amazing. our waitstaff, Kelly, was personable, accommodating, and delightfully conversational. I highly recommend Sage Bistro. We will definitely be eating here again.

My wife and I had the most wonderful experience in dining at the Sage Bistro tonight. My wife has severe animal protein allergies and we are limited to the establishments we can attend. Upon entering the restaurant, we were cordially and professionally greeted by the owners, Jeannine and Jeff, and the situation was explained. They thoroughly assessed the menu and suggested the plates my wife could safely eat. My wife had absolutely no issues with the food. The plate presentation was extraordinary and the food was fabulous to the point we could discern the condiments. The atmosphere was superb and the place was spotless. The service was exceptional and the plates were brought out like clockwork. Thank you, Jeannine and Jeff for accommodating my wife's requirements. We will see you again next week or sooner. As people who dine out 5-6 times a week, we highly recommend the Sage Bistro. You will not regret the experience.

Vegetarian options: Plenty of options and very accommodating to dietary needs.

Dietary restrictions: Very accommodating to my wife's animal protein allergies.

Parking: Plenty of free parking.

Kid-friendliness: Owners encourage children attendance.

Wheelchair accessibility: Saw easy accessibility for special needs.

Excellent appetizers. The tapas are great, the tuna is better than you find at the local Japanese restaurants. Also, try the mushroom Chardonnay soup if you get a chance. My favorite menu item is the grilled pork chop with asparagus. It might well be the best pork chop you ever ate.

We were in Cape Canaveral this summer for four nights and ate at Sage Bistro more than once! We loved the laid back atmosphere and the delicious food. They have a pretty diverse menu so it'd be hard not to find something you like. We also sampled a few of their drinks at the bar and they were delicious, as well! This restaurant is nicer than a bar or beach restaurant but definitely not stuffy...just the right balance for a nice dinner or lunch.

I love Sage Bistro! The food is excellent, I have had many food choices on the menu, with one of my favorites being the crab cakes! Lots of lump crab meat and very little filler!! I have never had a bad experience there, so when I have guest I take them there.
The owners Jeannine and Jeff are very cordial and explain the menu if you have questions. The food is prepared fresh and is amazing! You can’t go wrong at Sage Bistro!

My mom and I are visiting Florida from Canada and this is the best food we have found in the state so far the owner is lovely and the services fantastic and they have clean bathrooms and a great atmosphere. Thank you for the experience. 🖤🖤🖤

Wheelchair accessibility: I don’t use a wheelchair, but it was evident that they have a very flat floor plan in good access to the bathrooms. If you can fit through a door, you can fit into the bathroom.

I’m really sad to say that Sage Bistro is no longer the place we once loved. The new ownership has completely changed the vibe and quality of both the food and the experience. The menu has been revamped, and unfortunately, it’s just not the same. The food was disappointing — the salmon was dry, the mashed potatoes were bland and lacked flavor, and the spring rolls tasted like they came straight from a freezer, not fresh from a kitchen.

It’s clear the restaurant has turned into more of a typical tourist trap now, with lackluster food and even T-shirts for sale on the walls. We really miss the old Sage Bistro and the quality that came with it.

Additionally, the owner walking around in an old white T-shirt and swimming shorts didn’t feel appropriate, especially for a place that used to have a more refined atmosphere. If you’re going to position your restaurant as a laid-back beach bar, it would have been helpful to know that ahead of time — especially after driving 45 minutes hoping for the Sage experience we remembered and experienced for years at least twice a month.

Sadly, we won’t be returning.

Dear Owner,
Thank you for your response. It has certainly given me a clearer understanding of your attitude. I wish you the best moving forward and hope that your approach serves you well.
