Long time visitor and fan of restaurant. We missed them the past couple of years and SO glad they reopened the restaurant. Food was even better. Best Cuban sandwich you can find. Roasted pork with sides of beans was excellent. Do not miss going here!
Authentic and fresh! It took around 15 minutes for lunch. Overall the place is clean & the food is great!

They are back open! Finally!! Food is all great, both Mexican and the Cuban food. Fast, friendly service. Local joint, family owned. Great coffee, tacos, pork, beef. If you haven’t visited them you need to support this great local establishment. Eat in or take out.

A nice Latin touch in an area where most restaurants offer mostly American dishes.

Between 2009 and 2024 (when I lived and worked on the Space Coast) I visited often, even when I moved from Cocoa Beach to Rockledge and then Viera! Being Cuban-American (born in Cuba, raised in the States) I LOVED their Cuban food! It was one of the closest to my Mom's home-cooking, and I missed that place when I moved back to Orlando this year. I used to sit at the counter with my cafe-con-leche and talk to the owners in Spanish. Their croquetas are delicious!!! Can I give them 10 STARS? EXCELLENT. (I love Mexican food, too, but never tried it!) I'm sure it's excellent, too. Miss them! (I have to find a good place in Orlando, but I'll always go to Vargas when I'm back in town.)
Trip advisor sent me a recommendation…… This place burnt down like a year ago, but I bet it was great, I hope. Also, they have a Go Fund Me so you may want to visit and support their cause.
Tried this place awhile back when I first moved here and absolutely loved it! Very unfortunate that it’s out of business right now due to the fire at the establishment above it, but I’ll most definitely be there to support this wonderful restaurant when it’s back up and running!!

My husband and I stopped in here for lunch. They sell bottled soda and excellent sandwiches. Not sure if sides were available, bought the grilled Cubano and shredded beef. Both were excellent. Only had 4 tables and the restaraunt isn’t much on ambiance, but food and service were great.

We visited from Texas, and I can say that both the taste and customer service were spectacular, highly recommended.
A bit expensive and took a while to get our order. It was tasty however and filling.
