My experience there with the nurses. Shauna Wagner was extraordinary. She knew her job very well. She interacted With me to make me feel comfortable and relaxed before my surgery.
But, in recovery I had a nurse called Jasmine. I could tell she was one of the younger ones. She never spoke, except to say if you want your dress on stand up, I could tell she was one of the young ones because of her attitude. It was like she did not want to be at work. Even my husband, waiting for me, noticed, no smile on her face. I feel awful saying this, but this new generation has to learn to have a good attitude. The world owes them nothing. In this profession, she must have a smile on her face. And show that she loves her work and wants to be there.
Like the extraordinary Shauna Wagner that checked me in.
The entire process at this surgery center was so smooth and professional. I would definitely recommend having a procedure done here. The entire staff was kind, thoughtful, caring, and thorough. I truly appreciated the excellent care I received.
I had a total hip replacement on 10/21/2024 and the whole team was simply amazing.highly recommend
I’m writing this as I’m waiting for my surgery but I have to come on here to let everybody know how amazing the staffs at this place is. Miss Rosa at front desk and miss Shauna my nurse are amazing human being. I was so nervous before the surgery but they put me at ease. I can relax now that I know I’m in good hand. The both of them are super sweet and professional. They need to get a raise seriously. Thank guys for making my day.
I had a Colonoscopy this past week. All the staff I came in contact were very professional and caring. The lady who checked me in at the reception desk took her time explaining all the forms that I needed to sign and asked me if I had any questions.
My nurse Pam is one of the best nurses that I have encountered in a long time. She was very friendly and made me feel comfortable/safe/warm. She did a great job getting my IV in as I was dehydrated. The anesthesiologist then spoke with me to explain how I was going to be put to sleep. My doctor then spoke with me to double check on the procedure I was to have.
The nurse and nurse anesthetist in the procedure room did a good job making me comfortable.
My discharge nurse explained my discharge instructions & gave me written instructions. I highly recommend this surgery center as it is clean, all the staff are wonderful/professional. I only had to wait 10 minutes for my nurse to call me back to the pre-op room. They are very busy as they do several types of surgeries and procedures.
I am so glad I decided to have my procedure done at Cape Coral Surgery Center. Last year I had a bad experience at a different outpatient surgery center in Cape Coral.
Thank you to all the amazing staff.

had the best experience today. Tracy From maternal fetal medicine is amazing. Had us in and out. this is my fifth ultrasound, and by far the best experience ever. thank you Tracy keep doing what you do !
The best team. I was treated with so much care and respect. The nurses made sure I understood every step of my procedure as I had never been in surgery before. Anesthesia team was amazing as well. It’s a very welcoming environment.
On October 17th 2023, I accompanied my spouse to Cape Coral Surgery Center to have surgery on his knee. Performed by Brett Sweitzer MD. Upon arriving we notice patients in the waiting room complaining about their surgery being behind schedule. I asked someone how far behind they were and she said at least an hour. We waited in the waiting room for about another 45 minutes and he was called to pre-op. About an hour and a half later a nurse came from pre-op and asked me if I was with said patient, and I confirmed that I was. She told me he wasn't even back in surgery yet. I could not believe they were that indifferent about making nervous patients wait for hours. She informed me he was "perturbed". She said the word perturbed to me 4 times, as if I didn't understand the first time. And every time she would say it, she spit on me a little bit. It was repulsive. She asked me to come in the back, so I did, but only for a few minutes.
He didn't want to talk about it then and there, so when we arrived home he told me what had transpired, and I was shocked to say the least.
During his stay in pre-op he asked why they were behind and he was given the obligatory response that the physicians had difficult cases. He made the mistake of commenting that maybe their schedule was too heavy.
The two nurses and the anesthesiologist (who was training a new anesthesiologist at the time, so she saw it all) were very unhappy by his comment and they let him know in no uncertain terms. The three of them turned on him, like a coven. Asking him if he was hungry, and one nurse even went so far as to ask him if he would be happier with a steak and baked potato meal. They were making fun of a hungry and nervous patient. They were also teasing and taunting him aggressively trying to get him to smile. How very uncaring, unprofessional and childish.
Two nurses and one anesthesiologist being hostile with smiles on their faces. Disturbing. This was a sickening display of aggression toward a patient who was in their care. They were attempting to provoke him and he just got very quiet.
They treated him with disdain.
I worked as an x-ray tech until I retired and can state with absolute certainty that if I had been combative with a patient and I had treated a patient this way I would have been FIRED!!!
This group needs to learn compassion and understanding for their patients.
I will NEVER step foot in this surgical center ever again.
It's way too hostile.
They gave me the wrong directions, I tried to call & no one at the answering service knew the address. I finally got somebody on the phone but she could not give me exact directions. It gave me anxiety, that is not good before a procedure. The doctor and nurse were amazing.

I went in Monday afternoon for shoulder repair surgery. I did not know the time of the surgery until the Friday before but I do understand the reasons why. I am sure it is an anxious time for all that are undergoing a procedure. I was not as stressed as I would normally be under the circumstances. I found the staff to be very professional, efficient and warm, friendly and caring. Every effort was made to make me comfortable physically and mentally. They were truly outstanding. I am not easily impressed so for me to write this review is a testament that they were absolutely phenomenal and that I was blessed to have them take such good care of me. I would highly recommend this facility to anyone needing surgery. I was truly blown away.

Be prepared to wait. An appointment means they MAY see you in an hour
Wouldn’t tell us when our surgery was going to happen until the night before, which should have been a red flag from the get-go. Every day for the past 3 days prior we kept calling them, asking when we were scheduled to get our surgery, and they always said “Oh we’ll call you, don’t worry, don’t worry.” Eventually, they told us 1pm was our appointment, and when we arrived at 12:40 we were told they scheduled an additional patient to our surgeon at our exact appointment time, and that they were going to take them first (even though we arrived first). Made us wait 3 HOURS before we could get our surgery, which was an additional 4 HOURS. At this place for a total of 7 hours. Kept seeing other patients check in, wait 20 minutes or so, then get called back for their appointment. You can imagine how upsetting this was, especially since we were not allowed to eat or drink anything ever since midnight the night before. Felt like torture, and the staff didn’t seem very receptive to our situation. I understand that it’s mostly out of their control, but why the lack of communication? Why schedule us for an appointment that some other person was going to take anyway? Do they realize we haven’t been able to eat or drink anything for 19 hours? It got to the point where we were the only ones left in the waiting room, even the staff clocked out for the rest of the night before we were seen.TL;DR: Find a different surgery center, these people will waste your time and not care at all. Taking the extra 30 minutes or so to drive somewhere else is better than waiting hours in the waiting room for no reason.
I was so nervous, sweating profusely, & trembling like a leaf (had just lost my husband only days before)... when I went in... But, Pam was an absolute doll, calmed me down in her soothing way, gave me cool air to help with the sweating, explained everything & was just everything you want in a nurse... During my procedure, Maggie Mae & Shawna were so sweet & consoling as I was hurting so badly... They even came over to see me in post-op... Then, I met Christine in post-op who I think I just added to my new friend list... She was amazing!!! Not sure who called my driver, but Christine walked me to the door & the car... She had a very calming effect on me, in my state...As an old, retired nurse, I have a level of care that I provided my patients with, as what I expect... I was not let down here... Everyone I came in contact with were outstanding professionals... I could not have had better care!!!I will be going back in about 10 days for surgery & I am hoping I get these extremely warm & compassionate women again... You are blessed with an amazing staff!!!
