Having eaten at this Restaurant over the last 8 years and being told that the fried rice I was ordering was gluten free ( I always ask to verify) I was surprised on 11/26/25 when I ordered the Shrimp fried rice and requested that they acknowledge that it is gluten free. I was told that the rice was always pre made and that it did contain soy sauce with gluten. I cannot claim that I did or didn't have digestive issues but to someone else it could lead to a more severe outcome. Part of the issue could be language interpretation as the people behind the counter are of a different culture but half the time they are not. So in closing I won't be ordering food from this restaurant and I would advise caution if you have celiac as I do.
good taste and enough for later

Over several years I’ve had some meals from China Garden that bordered on mediocre but on my latest visit tonight the food delighted me. Vegetables were crisp and well cut and the meats were seasoned and tender. Hot and sour soup was flavorful and loaded. The restaurant premises have had a significant upgrade and are now bright and tidy (if still utilitarian) and look much more inviting. It is great to see this staple in our community lifting their game.

The shrimp egg foo young was delicious and the hot and sour soup the best. Very friendly very clean just really a nice place
Ordered a spicy beef dish and you’d be lucky if there was a 1/4 cup in the dish. All veggies. Through away the left overs which was a first! Spring roll were these two tiny fried rolls the diameter of a dime and 2” long with pretty much nothing in them. Been going here for 10 yrs and it was the worst.

This is the worst place I’ve ever been to for Chinese take out I got the house chow mein that was 90% onions and the sweet and sour pork are basically mini corn dogs.

I should have asked for sauce I suppose. Never in 30 years have I received a bag of Chinese food with no soy sauce or duck sauce. Bourbon chicken was dry and inedible. The lomein was decent but probably better with any sort of flavoring. Krab wontons were okay.
Not one single soy sauce or duck sauce package. Dry chicken dishes. Got ripped off on spending a certain amount of cash to get free soda. Do not put that sign on your register unless all employees are aware of the GIANT SIGN.
