Had a party for my daughter’s Eagle Scout achievement and they provided wonderful accommodations! This place has been a family favorite for years and we are very appreciative for such a great event here! Many thanks and much love!
If you like coal fired pizza, try this place. We ordered a house salad, 8 wings and a four cheese small pizza. The food was good and fresh, but not memorable. The water tasted like drinking straight out of a chlorine bottle, even in the disposable cups. If you order soda or beer on tap, the same water is used. We asked for bottled water. The server "forgot" and never came back until we were ready to pay and leave; not even when I walked to the car and brought back my own water did she not stop by. There were 4 employees hanging out in the back, while the one server was serving the entire place, which was half full. I will order take out next time, if ever.
Who said you can’t get good pizza in Florida? Every meal we have ordered has been Exceptional!! They even passed the snobby Italian meatballs test! She loved them!! Awesome I have to say myself! Highly recommended! Great food!
Kid-friendliness: Family friendly, quaint nice atmosphere, outdoor seating, table service
Parking: Large lot
Wheelchair accessibility: Easy access
Words cannot describe our experience.Julie was great and made our evening wonderful. The ‘Pizza Artists’ not only made great pizzas, they made the experience personal for our children. The pizzas were perfect and reasonably priced. The restaurant is clean and offers a nice atmosphere for family dining or a night out with friends. We highly recommend Dante’s for your next pizza experience, you won’t regret it.
Good place to get a delicious brick oven pizza. The service was very good and we didn’t wait to be seated.Nice environment and decoration.I got a supreme pizza thin crust. It was really good with all fresh ingredients. The 16” is enough for two and some leftovers.Reconsideration for the house wine.Definitely a coming back.Enjoy !!!
Well Dante, we gave it another shot and you failed again! So much bad I don’t even know where to begin. Over an hour and a half for 2 people to eat a pizza. Why you ask, well the waitress forgot to put our order in. There were like 3 other people in the restaurant and no one noticed. Hmm. She told us she forgot and apologized. That was nice. Did a manger come over, nope. Not even sure if there was one working. On top of that, plastic silverware and paper plates!! Really! Nothing like sipping wine while breaking a plastic fork trying to eat a salad. And have you not tried to cut a pizza with a plastic knife?? Huge fail! Only positive is the pizza wasn’t that bad. Which is to bad because we won’t be back. The 2nd star was for the pizza.
Worst service ever. Allison was dismissive and rude. She never offered a reciept and kept my change assuming a tip. But, the worst was the slow service, answering a phone and looking for something in a booth while I was waiting right there for the pizza that were boxed and just sitting there. Then she got another order ready. And brought them both over together. The garlic cheese bread had no cheese and was so small three people each got two small pieces. The four in our group got stiffed. Pizza was not flavorful at all. Will not return. Hope the owner has a discussion with Allison about basic customer care. Return proper change, provide a receipt so people know what they paid for and get the pizza to the customer hot.
We have only gotten take out but I really enjoy the pizza, it's always consistently tasty. This last order was placed with the SLICE app, it went well, however, I gave special instructions for no jalapeños and there were ultimately jalapeños on the pizza so maybe the always instructions didn't translate on the app. The pizza and wings are always spot on.
My very first impression was good, the atmosphere was nice, you could see coal burning in the pits which was awesome! The waitress/hostess was very friendly and nice. I ordered a small supreme pizza and a house salad for $27. The salad I ordered was spectacular. I was not a huge fan of the pizza because I love thick crust but it was still good. The only thing that turned me was I found a hair IN my pizza. Not on top but in the cheese under the toppings. I am absolutely grossed out. I can't see myself going back because of this.
Dante's Coal Fired Pizza in Cape Coral is the real deal! We enjoyed a Margarita Pizza that was absolutely superb. For dessert we had Tiramisu that was the best! Ana was our server and she was professional and knowledgeable about the menu. The food arrived quickly and we enjoyed a wonderful meal. Treat yourself to a great meal and visit Dante's!

Came here 6mo the ago and they were going through a staff rebuilding process. Food was good but really slow. Gave them another chance today and sandy has got this place running on point. Excellent experience! Make it a point to give them business Cape!!!
The pizza has an authentic pizza taste as it is prepared fresh in an open kitchen where you can see them prepare it! I'm already craving it just by writing this review!? The service was fantastic! We highly recommend it.
Absolutely delicious! I got the "white" pizza, a caprese salad and a limoncello cake for dessert & was def not disappointed!! Worth every penny!
Was a little hesitant to try due to some of the recent reviews, but glad we did. Inside was nice and clean. The waitress was very nice and attentive. The menu is small, however we were looking for pizza and that’s what they had. Each got a personal pizza and shared the meatball appetizer. The food was great, came out quick. Overall very happy.
The menu is simple. The garlic bread and marinara sauce are the best! We ordered the Hawaiian. It was good, but skimpy on toppings. Our waitress was nice. The place was empty on a Saturday before 4th of July. We walked in and they didn't have a hostess. I could see numerous employees in the back by the ovens/bar. We didn't wait long as it was empty. Food came out fast. It has a very nice, comfortable decor and looked like a nice bar area.2 cokes, large pizza that fed 2 adults and a toddler, garlic bread, and a slice of Cheesecake was $55 including tip. There were 2 to 3 people that came in for carryout. Parking was not a problem, but it is in the same plaza as Bonefish, which was super busy. (Plus all the other businesses were closed for 4th).I would get carryout from this place as it was pretty well priced and perhaps go again if I had family or friends in town, but I feel like they really need to expand their menu and get a hostess if this wasn't an isolated incidence.
